HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO SAVE, IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR MARRIAGE

Assalamu alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu
Bismillahi wal Alhahmdulillah wasualatu wassalamu alaa Rasulullah wa alaa Alihi wa ashabihi
wamanitada bi hudaahu wa ba-ad
All praises is indeed to Allah Subhaanahu wataala, blessing and salutations upon the Prophet
Mohammed Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, we ask Allah to bless each of us and grant us goodness. Aameen
Brothers and sisters Marriage known as ‘Nikkah’ in Arabic is a legal contract between a man and
woman. Not a man and man, or a woman and a woman. May Allah guide us and forgive us all.
Marriage is a very important aspect of the deen. It serves as a legal means for procreating, it also brings
two families together, hence promote unity among the ummah. It also saves individuals from
fornication, etc.
Allah says in the glorious Quran: “ And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from
among yourselves, that you may dwell in peace and tranquility with them, and He has put love and
mercy between your (hearts): Verily in that are signs for those who reflect” (Quran 30:21).
In Surah Nisa Allah says: “O People be careful of (your duty to) your Lord, who created you from a
single being and created its mate of the same (kind) and spread from these two, many men and
women; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, by Whom you demand one another your right, and (to)
the ties of relationship; surely Allah ever watches over you” (Quran 4:1)
Note that in Islam there is no place for celibacy
As a man how much do I need to save before I can get into this institution called marriage?
In Islam, Allah has made breadwinning the responsibility of men. The man is the head of the family and
his duties include providing shelter, food, clothing and other basic needs of the family.
Then it means the man has to save a lot of money right? Not Necessarily
Narrated by Sahl bin Sa’ad As-Sa’idi: A woman came to Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam)
and said, “O Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam)! I have come to give you myself in marriage
(without mahr). “Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam) looked at her. He looked at her
carefully and fixed his glance on her and lowered his head. When the lady saw that he did not say
anything, she sat down. A man from his companions said, “O Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi
Wassallam) if you are not in need of her, then marry her to me”. The Prophet (Sallalahu Alaihi
Wassallam) said “have you got anything to offer?” The man said “No, by Allah, O Allah’s Messenger
(Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam)”. The prophet said to him, “Go to your family and see if you have
something.” The man went and returned, saying, “No, by Allah, I have not found anything”. Allah’s
Apostle (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam) said “Go again and look for something, even if it is an iron ring.” He
went again and returned saying “No, by Allah, O Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam)! I could
not find even an Iron ring, but this is my Izar (waist sheet).” He had no rida. He added, “I give half of it to
her.” Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam) said, “What will she do with your Izar? If you wear
it she will be naked and if she wears it you will be naked.” So that man sat for a long while and then got
up (to depart). When Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam) saw him going, he ordered that he

be called back. When he came, the Prophet (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam) said, “How much of the Quran
do you know?” He said “I know such Surah and such Surah,” counting them. The Prophet (Sallalahu
Alaihi Wassallam) said, “Do you know them by heart?” He replied “Yes”. The Prophet (Sallalahu Alaihi
Wassallam) said “Go, I marry her to you for that much of a Quran which you have.”
Sahih al-Bukhari 5087, book 67, Hadith 25
From the above hadith you can see that dowry is the most important aspect that must be fulfilled before
any marriage. Shelter is also an important aspect that men must be able to provide. The man must save
enough money that can be used to provide shelter and also for the payment of the woman’s dowry.
Does he have to save until the money is enough to build a house or rent a flat? Not necessarily
The man can even stay in his father’s house and get married provided he can afford the dowry. A single
room will do it doesn’t have to be a flat or bungalow and what have you. Now the amount he needs to
save for the dowry depends on the woman he is marrying since she will determine how much should be
paid as her dowry. Allah says in the glorious Quran: “And give women their dowries as a free gift, but if
they of themselves be pleased to give up to you a portion of it then eat it with enjoyment and with
wholesome result.” (Quran 4:4).
Please my dear men if you have enough money to rent a single room and pay a dowry then you can
get married. May Allah increase us in faith. Aameen.
In a nutshell, In Islam a man needs to save as much as can buy shelter and pay dowry before he can go
ahead and get married. Shelter and dowry are the basic requirement. May Allah help all single Muslim
men out there save enough to get married Aameen.
Narrated by Abdullah radiya Allahu Anhuu; we were with the prophet (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam) while
we were young and had no wealth whatsoever. So Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam) said,
“O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze
and guard his modesty, and whoever is not able to marry should fast, as fasting diminishes sexual
power”.
Sahih al-Bukhari 5066, book 67, Hadith 4
How much does a woman need to save before she can get married? Nothing, Zero.
The woman is going to be catered for by the man so she does not need to save anything before she can
married. However it is good if she also saves to support her family.
In conclusion, a Muslim man needs to save as much as can buy a shelter and pay dowry before he can
get married but a woman needs to save absolutely nothing. May Allah help all singles out there get
married. Aameen.
The good I have said, is from Allah and may He help us all benefit from it. The wrong ones are from me
may Allah forgive me and us all. Wassallama wa taslima alaa rasulinaa Mohammed Sallalahu Alaihi
Wassallam wa alaa aalihi suahabihi ajmaeen. Alhamdulillah
Wa sallamu alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu.

WISDOM BEHIND THE STORIES OF THE QURAN

In Allah’s name, the most gracious the especially Merciful.
The Quran is a miraculously revealed statements of Allah to guide mankind and jin. The Quran has it unique way of presenting its message which makes it different from all other books. One of this unique characters is the manner on which it presents stories(QISSAH-QASAS) and gives the reader some kind of comfort and clear understanding.
According to Dr. Salehi, Stories in the Quran is classified in three ways:
  1. The messages, feedbacks, and events of the prophets. Examples are the stories of Eesah, Ibrahim, noor amd etc
  2. The stories of past events, educattive outcomes when there is no prophet present. Examples are the story of Dhul Qaynayn, story Adam descendant and etc.
  3. Stories of the events during the time of prophet Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam time. Examples are the battles of Ahzab, Hunain, Tabook Uhud, and etc.
.
WISDOM BEHIND THE STORIES OF THE QURAN;
There are purposes, technicalities and reasons under which the stories of the Quran are narrated.
According to Ahmad al-Dosary, the following wisdoms can be derived;
  1. Their divinely revealed: Again, the most perfect of speech belongs to Allah and so, no other book can be compared to the Quran in the manner it presents it's stories. Allah said in Quran 11:49, "This is of the news out of the unseen, which We reveal unto you(Oo Muhammad, neither you nor your people knew them before this."
  2. It uthenticity: It is considered that when a prophet appear, accomplish his mission and live, he does no tell his own story. It takes those of his companions to tell his story to the next generation. In addition, the previous divine books are not also completely reliable because of it distortion. The most authentic narration is the ones narrated in the Quran by the creator himself. What ever of a stroy that is told in the Quran is the truth and acurate and it is exactly what happend in the past. Allah is the all hearing and all knowing and is the only one that knows the complete insidents and even what is in the hearts of the the parties. Allah says in Quran 3:62,"Verily,This is the true narrative about the story of Iesa." and also, Allah says in Quran 12:111,"Indeed in their stories, there is a lesson for men of understanding. It is not a forged statement but a confirmation of Allah's existing Books and a detailed explanation of everything and a guide and a Mercy for the people who believe."
  3. Narrating the important parts of a story: This is a unique way that was used by Allah to deliver the stories. And the reader is only directed to the most important stages of the events. Sometimes a whole story is told at once like the story of Yussif Alayhi-Salaam and in other situations, parts of the event is told in different places to give an emphasis of ideas.
  4. Establishement of Tawhidullah in relation of worahip: All the prophets that came to this world brought only one message, thus to establish the oneness of Allah and that Allah is the only one that deserves and is worthy to be worahiped. Undoubtedly, each of them had their unique way of delivering their message but all finalize on common goal. Allah says in Quran 21:25,“And We did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad) but We revealed to him (saying): Laa ilaaha illa Ana [none has the right to be worshipped but I (Allaah)], so worship Me (Alone and none else)."
  5. The reality of the day of Judgement: The disbelievers disbelieve because they are ignorant about the reality of Allah's rewards, punishment and the day of Judgement. The abundance of stories of the past generations prove to them the reality of this day and that the disbelievers will suffer whiles believers will gain a satisfactory place.
  6. Improving upon the faith of the believers: The stories of the past nations displayes the outcome of disobeying Allah and his messages by telling how they responded negatively to Allah's message and their distractions. Again it also displays the dignitries or the pious amongs them and how Allah value them. Allah says about Ibrahim in the Quran 37:101-105, When Ibrahim at last was given a son and when the son grew up to be a boy, Allah again asked him to be secrefice to Him, and both Ibrahim and the son obeyed Allah.
According to Qutb, the following wisdoms can be deduced;
  1. To prove that a small number of believers can brighten a society. A number of these stories recorded a significant acts of some pious people who made a difference in a community which is full of oppression.
  2. There is no inventions in the Quran, the stories are narreted in parts and in reference to particular or similar cases.
According to Dr. Salehi, the following wisdoms can be derived;
  1. Thinking: The reliable, uthentic and perfectness of the stories provide distinctive facts and gives the individual the truthful message to ponder and distinguish between the right and wrong behavior.
  2. Sound knowledge: The stories of the past nations provide a circumstance when the reader gains a firm amd certain knowledge which the ignorance do not know. Example is the story of prophet Eesa's crusifiction confuses the people of the book but in the Quran, its clear and straight forward that he was not crusified nor did he died. Allah says in Quran 4:157-158 "“and their saying: ‘We slew the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary’, the Messenger of Allah - whereas in fact they had neither slain him nor crucified him but the matter was made dubious to them - and those who differed about it too were in a state of doubt! They have no definite knowledge of it, but merely follow conjecture; and they surely slew him not, but Allah raised him to Himself. Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise."
In conclusion, the Quran presents it stories in a special and unique manner in which mankind can grab the intended meaning. The wording, style and stages all form part of it perfectness and it impossiblility for imitations.

LESSONS LEARNT FROM THE BATTLE OF BADR AND UHUD

In Allah’s name, the most gracious the especially Merciful.
The prophet Muhammad Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam delivered his message in a stratagic manner. His message was delivered in three stagies. Thus, inviting people secretly, inviting the people of mkkah publicly and inviting the external communities.
The first stage did not actually cause him difficulty as was base on secret invitations. Later after three years of secret call, the number of muslims increased to an extend that the call could no longer be kept secret again. This was the period the leaders of makkah learnt about the new call and this was when the struggle of the muslims began.
Part of those struggles were series of battles and military expeditions after the muslims hmigration to Madina in order to worship Allah with peace of mind. Among these battles were the battle of Badr, Uhud, Confiderate, Mutah, and others.
IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE ABOUT THE BATTLE OF BADR AND UHUD:
Battle of Badr:
According to Azzam and Gouverneur, the following points can be noted about this battle;
  1. It was caused by the effort of the emigrant muslims in madina who wanted to imvade a caravan of the makkans led by Abu Safyaan RA. The intent was that they could retreave some of their lost properties taken by the makkans when they were migrating to madina. Abu Safyaan sent for help from the Makkans and a state of War began.
  2. It was during this period that Allah gave permission to fight back the wrong doers.
  3. The battle took place on the 17th of Ramadan, 2AH.
According to al-Mubarakpuri , we can note the following points;
  1. The Muslim had 300-317 soldiers, with only two horses and 70 camels. The people of Quraysh on the other had about 1300 soldiers with 100 horses, 600 camels and enough food supply. Later, Banu Hashim, the prophet Muhammad Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam's clan broke away and they were left with about 1000 soldiers.
  2. The prophet Muhammad Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam consulted both emigrant and helpers and so they agreed on their own will to fight for Allah's course. And they as well shared ideas of war strategies.
  3. The venue for the battle was called Badr.
  4. The muslims positioned themselves and used a war strategy according the prophet Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam directives.
  5. After the battle, the Muslims emerged victorious. Fourteen Muslims were killed but Seventy of the polytheists were killed.
The Battle of Uhud:
According to Qutb, the following important points can be derived from the Uhud battle;
  1. After the Muslims victory from the battle of badr, most prominent leaders of Quraysh fell and the leadership came to Abu Safyaan. The people of Quraysh out from the sadness of the outcome of the battle of badr were angry and in determination to revenge with a well organized army. They solicited fro support from their allies in addition to the the profit from the Caravan which Abu Safyaan led to Makkah to raised the Army.
  2. The prophet Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam suggested at the initial stage that they should be in Madina and defend themselves but a large number of the companions suggested otherwise. That led to the prophet Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam acceptance to go out and meet the Quraish Army.
  3. It took place in Shawwal, 3 AH.
  4. Quraysh set out with about three thousand soldiers. Whiles the muslims set out with one thousand but Abdullah ibn Ubayy, the head of the hypocrites withdrew about three hundred soldiers on the way and the muslims were left with about seven hundred soldiers.
  5. The Muslims positioned themselves according to the Prophet's Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam's directives. Most importantly placing fifty archers men on the mountain to protect the army of the Quraysh from attacking from all directions and asked them never to move out from there in any condition.
  6. From the initial stage, the muslims were in a state of wining the battle to an extent that the Quraish Army started to retrieve. Upon seeing them runing, the fifty soldiers put on the mountain descended and rushed to collect the spoils of War. The victory turn around and Muslims suffered for that disobedience. The prophet Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam was even injured but was shielded by a number of his companions who died from the arrows, stones and swords directed to the prophet Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam.

LESSONS LEARNT FROM THE BATTLE OF UHUD AND BADR;
According to the Qutb, the following lessins can be noted;
  1. Once all parties make a collective decision after consultations, there should not be any change. The parties must proceed and trust and hope for good results from Allah's.
  2. The prophet Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam use to consult his companions on matters whuch revelations were not sent. So there is acceptability in others opinions as a leader.
  3. Regarding Uhud's consultations Allah witnessed and heard all the parties who took part in the consultations. Allah knows the thoughts of peoples and He gives them courage to fight. Allah is always with the believers in times of difficulties and in times of ease and he prepared them in a way to seek his help when needed. Therefore, Muslims Should always relly and put apsolute trust in Allah.
  4. In the Battle of Badr, Allah granted them victory to multivate or develop their eeman. But in the Battle of Uhud, Allah wanted to test their hearts and clearn their ranks for the preperation of making them steadfast in directing Mankind to Islam.
  5. The outcome of the battle of Uhud caused the muslims remembrance of the outcome of the battle of Badr. Thus, the causes of the defeat and victory of the two battles in relation to the obedience to the prophet Muhammad Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam. And also to compare it in their own weakness and strength in their daily life.
  6. In addition, there is a finalization when the two battles are compared that Allah determines everything under every situation.
  7. The prophet Muhammad Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam and his companions do not have a say in the outcome of the battles but only Allah. They were only instruments of devine will.

SUMMARY
  • A collected decision should not be preach by one party, but should progress and relly on Allah for a good outcome.
  • Consultations and acceptamce of others opinions are qualities of a good leader.
  • One may not be granted only happiness in life. Difficulties mau also occure.
  • Rememberance of Allah's favors upon our lives as muslims and relly solely to Allah.
  • Allah determines the outcome of everything under all situations.

CAN USURY/RIBA BE ALLOWED IN ANY WAY?

INTRODUCTION
In Allah’s name, the most gracious the especially Merciful.
The term usury or Interest, in arabic RIBA means an addition. Thus, when two parties makes a transaction whose payment has to be made in the near future plus additional value. Al-Munnajid.
This occurs when sellers feels that money received today is higher than received tomorrow thus time value of money. Because one feels like same amount received today can be used to do business and will increase in the near future and so one who transact a business and is due to make payment in the future is suppose to add an amount to compensate for the delay.
THE PROHIBITION OF USURY IN ISLAM
According to Salih Al-Munnajid, usury is totally forbidden in Islam and whoever that deals in it commits a mojor sin. The one who receives, the one one who gives, the witnesses and the one who process usury are all committers of a majot sin.
Allah says in Suratul-Baqara:278-279,"Oo you who believe! Be afraid of Allah and give up what remains due to you riba(from now onwards), if you are(really) believers. And if you do not do it, then take a message of war from Allah and his messengers."
This shows the prohibition of usury and the magnitude of it in the sight of Allah. There are so many conditions in the affairs of man which makes us apply for transactions with usury inclusive. These are;
  1. Loss of jobs
  2. Unemployment
  3. Bankruptcy
  4. Intent to expand business
  5. Inability to pay a loan
  6. Economic Instability and etc
Again, the dealers of riba has been curse by the noble prophet Muhammad Sallah-llahu-alayhim-wasallam, Jaabir reported from Muslim 3/1219 that "the messenger of Allah curess the one who consume riba, the one gives it, the one who write it down and the one who witnesses "They are all the same".
According to Dr. Salih Al-Fawzan, the reasons for prohibiting Riba are;
  1. People's wealth are unjustly taken from them.
  2. By adding up to a borrowed amount, the borrower and those in need are harmed.
  3. Riba prevent people from being kind to people in need.
Some common excuses given for the consumption of Riba;
  1. When one find himself in a non-muslim country.
  2. A travelor who needs to borrow to arive at his destination.
  3. Borrowimg to acquire basic needs. Like food, shelter etc
  4. Borrowimg to sustain omes business so that one will not loss his capital and be jobless.
Rulings about whether one is permitted or not to trade in riba using the above excuses.;
According to Salih Al-Munnajid, just being in a non-Islamic country does not give one enough excuse to deal in usury. This is because the Prohibition of dealing in usury was not restricted to only those living in a non-Islamic country. If an act is forbeden in an Islamic state, it is olso forbeden in a non-Islamic state.
Also , Shaykh Salih Al-Munnajid reported from Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah "The belief that the well-known obligations are obligatory and that the well-known prohibitions are forbidden is one of the most important basic principles of faith, and the one who rejects that is a kaafir according to scholarly consensus." Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 12/497.
Shawkh Salih Al-Munnajid also explains that when one finds himself in a non-Islamic state, he should still try as much as he can to abide by the laws of the shariya. And always ask Allah for forgiveness for what he is not able to apply.
Again, one should also consider that we cannot deal in usury to expand our businesses or increase profits. And all other benefits which we can leave comfortable without.
Shaykh also explain that in a situation where one cannot in any way apply the righful act, Allah permit him to do otherwise.
Therefore one is permitted to deal in riba transactions to solve their basic needs such as the following ;
  1. Engaging in riba to acquire food, and shelter.
  2. When one compulsoryly have to receive salary through a riba base Banks.
  3. When one needs to save his money in a bank to protect it from being stolen.
  4. When one is force to do any transaction that involves usury.

CONCLUSION
  • Usury is forbeden in Isalm
  • Whatever is forbeden in an Islamic state is also forbeden in a non-Islamic state.
  • Usury is only permitted in time of necessity.

DID ALLAH SWT RAISED PROPHECTS FROM AMONGS THE JINNKIND?

In Allah’s name, the most gracious the especially Merciful.
Part of the cretions of Allah is the jinkind. And they are found amongs human on earth. According to Muhammad Ash-Shahawi, the jins exist and the proof is that Allah has revealed a whole sura/chapter about the truth of their existence and activities. The prophet Muhammad Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam has also narrated a number of hadith about them.
In addition, Muslims are required to belief in their existence amongs us even tbough invisible to us.
Allah says in Suratul-Hijr:27, "And we created the jin before that from the smokeless flame."
Also, the jinn are of different kinds, these are;
  1. Those only living(Jinni).
  2. Those that lives amongs humans( Aamir- Ummaar).
  3. Those that antagonize mankind (Arwaah).
  4. The evil omes who harm mankind (Maarid).
  5. Those who show hostitlity to mankind( Shaytaan-Shayaayeen).
  6. Those who caurse intemse harm to mankind. (Ifreet-Afaareet).
Muhammad Ash-Shahawi continue to report from the prophet Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam that there are types of jinns. Thus, from Al-Khusani RA: "The Messenger of Allah Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam said: 'the jinn are of three types:the first types have wings and fly through the air;the second look like snakes and dogs;and the third type stop for a rest, and then resume their Journey". From Ibn Hibban:6123,al-Hakim:2/456 and others.
Further, the Jinnkind also have believers and disbelievers amongs them. And have the power to turn into different forms, posses things, animals amd humans. And they are of males and and females.

Messengers of the Jinn
Acoording to Abd Al-Salam Bali, the jins have amongs them believers and non-believers. They have evil onces and good once amongs them.
Again, amongs the muslims in them, they have all kinds of sects just like that of mankind. The wrong doers amomgs them will end up in hell and the righly guided once amongs them willl enter paradise just like what will happen to mankind.
Allah says in Suratu-An'am:130. "Company of jinn and men, did not messengers come to you from amongs yourselves relating My signs to you of the encounter of ths day of yours?"
This saying of Allah proof that messengers were sent to the jinns too.
Also, the prophets sent to mankind were the same prophets sent to the jinns at the same time. Proof of this is because of the number of times Allah has merge both Human beings and Jinns in one verse alerting us about the fact that messengers were semt to us and we both ought to follow their teachings. And also a number of hadiths from the prophet Muhammad Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam about the fact that he Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam was sent to both manking and jinkind.
In a hadith narated by Jabir bin Abdullah reported by Al-Tirmidhi(5/73), the prophet Salallahu-alayhim-wa-salam said after reciting suratul arahman to his companions "I recited this before the jinn on the night of Jinn, and their response was better than that of yours. When i came to these words: (Which of the blessings of your lord do then you deny?) They said:" Lord, there is nothing that we deny of your blessings; to you all praise is due.".
Lastly, Shaykh al-Hanooti a member of the north American fiqh council when asked about whether Allah raised messengers from amongs the jinns, he answered : "“We have no Qur’anic verse or Hadith to the effect that Allah has raised Prophets or Messengers from among the Jinn. Here, I refer you to verse 130 of surat Al-An`am: “Oh you assembly of the jinn and humankind! Came there not unto you Messengers of your own…”
I therefore conclude that the prophets from amongs mankind also served as messengers to the jins at the same time.
SUMMARY
  • There exist a Jinnkind.
  • They Jinns are of different kings amd types.
  • The jinns are of believers amd non-believers.
  • Prophets from amomgs human were sent to the jinns too.
  • There were no messengers from amongs the jinns.

Reasons why pagans of Makkah found Islam threatening and why they resisted the message brought by the Noble Prophet PBUH

All praises and worships are due to Allah alone exclusively. We ask for Allah’s Blessings upon
the Noble and last prophet Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam. Every nation, from
prophet Adam Alayhi-Salam up to date have been sent Prophets and Messengers to remind
them about Allah. Some Prophets were sent to remind their families, others to their town and
some to the whole world like Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam.
The prophet Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam is the last prophet and was sent to the
whole of mankind till the last day. He possessed all kinds of good manners and was known to
be the most trust worthy from his time to date. Through the prophet Muhammad Sallallahu-
Alayhim-wasallam, Allah established his final message and fulfil his religion. So obeying him is
obeying Allah. Allah says: "And obey Allah and obey the Apostle, but if you turn back, then upon
Our Apostle devolves only the clear delivery (of the message)."
The prophet Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam possessed all kinds of good qualities
which made it clear to the people of Makkah at the initial stage that he could not lie concerning
the message he has brought. But yet, the people rejected the message because of their own
personal and collective reasons.
For instance, on one occasion the prophet Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam stood on
Mount safar to preach to them. He first asked them a question that, if he was to tell them that
an army was about to attack Makkah would they have believe? Which they answered yes. But if
he is to preach the world of Allah to them, they rejected him.
This shows that he was a man of honor, respect and trustworthy who could not lie. Their
rejection of the message was based on some reasons. Some of these reasons are explained
below.
Firstly, Division of the people of Makkah. The leaders of Makkah were of the view that
Muhammad message created division among them. At the initial stage they kept silent about
the preaching of the message because they did not suspect that the message would prevail.
Later, they found out that many people who were among them were joining Muhammad
Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam call, and whoever that join Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-
wasallam disassociate himself from them completely. So they felt that Muhammad Sallallahu-
Alayhim-wasallam was dividing them.
Example is when the Muslims were been tortured severely and they were given permission to
migrate to Ethiopia, the leaders of Makkah sent two people(Amr Ibn al-As and Abdullah Ibn
Rabiah) who are known by their eloquence to talk to the king of Ethiopia to return the Muslims.
Also, the people of Quraysh were the custodians of the ka’ba and always boost of their right as
the protectors of the Ka’bah. All the other Arab tribes envied them so much. Because of this,
the leaders of Quraysh feared that the division caused by Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-
wasallam will cause other tribes to attack them and take over the ka’ba. (Azzam and
Gouverneur)

Secondly, the people of Quraysh wondered why such a wonderful and touching verses could
flow from the tongue of someone who do not know how to read and write. Meanwhile this
shows that he could not have possibly innovated his own verses. But they attacked him because
they thought they had more intelligent people among them who suited to alter those words.
(Al-Mubarakpuri)
Also, Ignorant about the personality a prophet should be. They thought a prophet should look
different from the rest of the people in terms of his form, and doing other things they also do.
For instance, Allah said that the people of Quraysh claimed that: “Why does this prophet eat
and move about in the market like our own selves.”
Further, Arrogance. The people of Quraysh knew that the message of Muhammad could be a
true message, yet they hesitated in accepting it because of arrogance and bride. Once one of
the polytheists An-Nadr bin Harith addressed the leaders concerning their attitude towards
Muhammad as being too harsh and justified the message he brought.
They went as far as suggesting that Muhammad should let them come together and whorship
both their God’s and Allah. This shows that they did not rejected the message because they
found out it was not a message from Allah but because they feel too big to accept the message
from a common man among them. (Al-Mubarakpuri)
Further more, they were foolish and iniquity. .For instance, once when the prophet Muhammad
Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam recited suratul-Najm in the presents of the people of Quraysh and
reached the last verse(So make prostration to Allah and serve (Him)). They were all touched by
Allah’s words and went on prostration. When they raised from prostration and realized that it
was the Qur’aan that made them to prostrate, they still rejected the message. (Azzam and
Gouverneur)
Lastly, envy form the other Quraysh clans. This is one of the major reasons why the people of
Quraysh rejected Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam call. The clans of Quraysh envied
each other about leadership. When the prophet Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam
appeared among Banu Hashim, the other tribes envied them because if the prophet
Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam succeed they will be considered to be the leaders
among all the clans. Example is when the leaders of Quraysh realized that the prophet
Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam will never stop his call, they severed relation with his
clan. This shows that there was envy among the clans which made them rejected the message
even though they knew that there was a possibility of truth in the message. (Al-Mubarakpuri)
In conclusion, the people of Quraysh rejected the message of the prophet Muhammad
Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam because of ignorance, arrogant, pride, envy among the clans and
other tribes, and because they felt that Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam has brought
divisions within them.

MISINTERPRETATION OF ALLAH'S ATTRIBUTES

In Allah’s name, the most gracious the especially Merciful. All the perfect and good
names belong to Allah exclusively. Allah said: “He is Allah the Creator, the Maker, the
Fashioner; His are the most excellent names; whatever is in the heavens and the earth
declares His glory; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.” Surah Al-Hashr, Verse 24
According to Nasir-A Sa’di, Allah is incomparable in terms of his names and attributes.
Even if the whole of creatures come together to provide something, Allah’s attributes
still will stand out to be unique and perfect. Among some of the important point of his
work are the following.
 There is perfection and beautification of Allah’s attributes. This is because there
exist not even a single defect, deficiency nor mistake in his attributes.
 The names of Allah are proper names and descriptive. Meaning that they refers
to Allah himself and it descriptive nature shows it interpretation.
 Can only be obtain from revelations. Meaning that one can only accept a
particular attribute of Allah if it is proven by the Qur’aan and authentic Sunnah of
the prophet Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam.
 Unspecified Number. This shows that Allah’s names and attributes are not limited
to a specific number as described by one inauthentic Hadith as ninety nine.
According At-Tamimi, knowledge about Allah’s attributes and names increases one in
eeman. Such that the more one becomes aware of the attributes of Allah, His faith
increases.
When one lack knowledge about the attributes and names of Allah, His heart will be
dissatisfaction, lack of happiness and security. The heart that does not know Allah’s
attributes is tormented and unstable.
The knowledge about Allah’s attributes and knowledge is the most noble and important
aspect of knowledge. This is by singling Allah’s attributes out from all others and by
knowing the accurate knowledge they possess. By this, one knows Allah better.
According to Nasir-A Sa’di, some of Allah’s names and attributes are as follows:
 Ar-Rab (the Lord)

 Al-Malik (the king, master or owner)
 Alladhi- lahul – Mulk (The one to whom belong the dominion)
 Al-Wahid /Al-Ahad (the one)
According to Al-Munajjid, Allah’s attributes and names are explained just as he
explained them himself and as what is explained by the prophet Muhammad Sallallahu-
Alayhim-wasallam without liking them to the attributes of creatures and also, without
rejecting them. Any of the names whose meaning was not explain by the Qur’aan, the
prophet Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam and the companions should be left
like that without any attempt to explain them.
Anyone who rejects all the attributes of Allah or any of the attributes of Allah is a
disbeliever. Thus, anyone who do not accepts the explanation of Allah’s attributes given
by himself or from the prophet Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam.
Further, anyone who misinterpret the attributes of Allah is an innovator. Thus, those
who misinterpret the attributes of Allah from other than those Explanation from the
Quran and Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam. He is an
innovator and does not Send him out from Islam. Example is those who misinterpret
Allah’s hand as his power of which He and his Messenger Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam
did not explain as so.
According to Nasir-A Sa’di, the names and attributes of Allah are to be described on
how Allah and His Messenger Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam described them and those
which were not explained should be taken by their literal meaning. Any attempt to
explain it in one own way is accusing the prophet Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-
wasallam and his companions for not passing down the true message to us.
Also any attempt to explain what was not explain is an addition into Islam and any
addition is rejected.
On the authority of the mother of the faithful, Aisha (ra), who said: The Messenger of
Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who innovates something in this matter of ours (i.e., Islam) that is
not of it will have it rejected (by Allah)."

[Bukhari ; Muslim]
In another version in Muslim it reads: "He who does an act which we have not
commanded, will have it rejected (by Allah)."Sahih
For Instance, the Mutazilah, the Asharis and Qarameta disagree with each other
regarding some of the attributes of Allah. If every Scholar should interpret what Allah
has kept hidden, then there will be Differences of opinion in the religion. So the opinion
of the Ahlil-Sunnah Wal-jamaa is to keep what Allah kept hidden at the way it is without
any effort to explain it. Moreover, how is one going to know whether how he explain it is
the exact meaning Allah and His Messenger Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam would have
explained it.
One should therefor save himself from the calamity that will befall the innovators on the
day of Judgement by obeying Allah and His Messenger and disassociating oneself from
innovation.
In conclusion, Allah’s attributes and names are unique to himself and are incomparable
to other or all the creatures.
There number of Allah’s names is not restricted to a certain number.
Allah’s names and attributes are to be derived from only his own words(Quran) and the
authentic Sunnah of his Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu-Alayhim-wasallam.
Allah’s attributes are to be interpreted in a way he explained them himself from the
Quran and Sunnah. Any attributes that was not explained by the Qur’aan and Sunnah
should be left by their direct translation.
Any person that rejects any or all the attributes and names of Allah confirmed by the
Qur’aan and Sunnah goes out from Islam.
Any person that tries to explain what the Quran and Sunnah did not explain or
misinterpret their meanings is an innovator and anything added to Islam is rejected.
Therefore it is not allowed to misinterpret the attributes of Allah.

40 Hadith Nawawi, Hadith 5.

WHAT IS HADITH?

The Word "Hadith" is an Arabic term which  basically means *a conversation, a tale, a story, a report or an item of news..*

Islamically, it means whatever transmitted from the Prophet PBUH of his *actions, sayings, approvals and to an extent the physical characteristics*

So the Basis of Hadith in Islam is traced back to the Prophet PBUH...

The Term Hadith also has featured in the Qur'an and comes in different instances or forms..

Hadith in the Qur'an sometimes has been used to mean *the Qur'an itself, A Historical Story and A General Conversation...*

 *1. The Qur'an Itself*

In Surat Qalam Verse 44;

فَذَرْنِى وَمَن يُكَذِّبُ بِهَٰذَا *ٱلْحَدِيثِۖ* سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

So leave Me, [O Muhammad], with [the matter of] whoever denies *the Qur'an.* We will progressively lead them [to punishment] from where they do not know.

 *2. A Historical Story*

In numerous places of the Qur'an;

هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ

Has there reached you the story of Moses? -

 *3. A Conversation*

At-Tahrim 66:3

وَإِذْ أَسَرَّ ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِلَىٰ بَعْضِ أَزْوَٰجِهِۦ *حَدِيثًا* ...

And [remember] when the Prophet confided to one of his wives *a statement;* .....

So now, *How Important Are Hadith?*

As Muslims, Hadith are very important to us because *it makes the 2nd most important aspect of our religion..*

Through Hadith *we understand the Qur'an perfectly* because we get explanations of it from the Prophet PBUH Himself...

Also through Hadith, *We learn the Kind of Lives we ought to live as Muslims* because tit bits of The Life of The Prophet PBUH have been captured in hadith...

Through Hadith also, *we understand certain reasons behind certain laws and derive rulings also with regards to our daily lives...*

Then we move on to;
*What Qualifies Something or A Piece As Hadith?*

A Hadith is composed of two primary things;
1. *Sanad (سند)* = List or Chain of Narrators

2. *Matn (متن)* = Text or Subject Matter of The Hadith

So an example of Hadith is this 👇🏾

Sanad:- On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,

Matn :  “Part of the perfection of one’s Islam is his leaving that which does  not concern him.”

So If A piece should have these both thus a chain of narrators or a narrator and the text then it qualifies to be a hadith but is that conclusive as divine in Islam?

*No!* and that brings us to the next aspect of discussion; *Classification or Types of Hadith*

Primarily; There are two categories also and they are;

1. *Hadith Saheeh* = Authentic Hadeeth

2. *Hadith Da'eef* = Unauthentic Saying (could be fabricated or a weak)

For a Hadith to be authentic or Saheeh it should satisfy 3 conditions which are;

 1. The narrators *must* all be known to be truthful

2. The narrators *must* all possess good memories, or what scribed down what they heard when the Prophet reported it.

3. They must have met each other; meaning a narrator who claims to have heard from a narrator preceding him or her should prove they met..

And a Hadith becomes Unauthentic or Da'eef of  it meets any of this faults;

1. If any of the narrators were known to have been liars...

2. If any was known to have had a bad memory...

3. If any of the narrators were proven or known to have not met the one he was supposed to be narrating from...

I end here and appreciate your audience..

All faults from what I have scribed or discussed is from my self and the Truth and Right of it is from Allah and Then His Messenger..

I appreciate your audience and platform..

May Allah accept from us and grant us beneficial knowledge... Assalamu Alaikum

MIRACLE OF THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD PBUH

Asalaamu Alaykum my brothers and sisters in deen.
First and foremost, I humbly submit myself to the most high, powerful and the knower of the unseen, for everything.
And I ask that Allah grant me the ability to speak his words rightly in such a way that each one of you will have an increase in eeman tonight.
I therefore ask Allah's blessings upon our prophet Muhammad PBUH, his household, companions and you all.
Servants of Allah, I then say ALHAMDULILAH for  we have been given the best thing that could ever happen to mankind, thus Islam.
Allah is sufficient for us, because He SWT is all we need to live a good life, to die happly and to be resurrected as winners.
Brothers and sisters, I have been given the mantle to present on a very great topic. Thus THE MAIN MIRACLE OF THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD PBUH....
When I am to present in the midst of some great Shaikhs, I feel like the whole world have have been dropped on me.
So may Allah guide me.Aamen
Servants of Allah let's start by asking ourselves a question, What is a miracle?....
A miracle is an event not explicable by natural or scientific laws. Such an event may be attributed to a supernatural being, magic, a miracle worker, a saint, or a religious leader.
Informally, the word miracle is often used to characterise any beneficial event that is statistically unlikely but not contrary to the laws of nature , such as surviving a natural disaster , or simply a "wonderful" occurrence, regardless of likelihood, such as a birth. Other such miracles might be: survival of an illness diagnosed as terminal, escaping a life-threatening situation or 'beating the odds'.
A true miracle would, by definition, be a non-natural phenomenon, leading many rational and scientific thinkers to dismiss them as physically impossible (that is, requiring violation of established laws of physics within their domain of validity) or impossible to confirm by their nature (because all possible physical mechanisms can never be ruled out).
wikipedia
In Islam, we have two types of miracles,..
The mu‘jizah (miracle) is the extraordinary sign with which Allah supports His Prophets and Messengers, and challenges people. The karaamah is something extraordinary that Allah causes to happen at the hand of one of His close friends.
In most cases, before someone or something will be believed, One must see a miracle. This shows that miracle is very essential in one's life.
Most importantly, some people gain Alot of benefits like the Ummah of the various prophets who witnessed and believed that their miracles are direct messages from Allah and their rewards are in manifolds.
Whereas, with others, miracles have and will only cause their downfall. For instance, those who uses magic and those who disbelieve in the prophets whiles knowing that their miracles were from the Transcendent himself.
Servants of Allah, no prophet came without a special miracle to serve as a base upon which his Ummah will be guided. So was the PROPHET MUHAMMAD PBUH given a miracle.
Alot of miracles did the most noble of mankind and the best of creatures performed through Allah's will.
For instance,
1.Splitting of the moon
2.Isra and Mi'raj (Night Journey)
This is when malayka Gabriel took the prophet Muhammad PBUH from Masjid Haram to masjid Aqswa and from there, acsended the heavens to receive the number of Salaah to be performed daily by his Ummah.
Allah mentioned this isperational journey in surah Israa verse 1 and other verses. Allah says
Surah Al-Isra, Verse 1:
Glory be to Him Who made His servant to go on a night from the Sacred Mosque to the remote mosque of which We have blessed the precincts, so that We may show to him some of Our signs; surely He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
3.The events which occurred during his Hegira (migration from Mecca to Medina ):
When he PBUH intended to migrate and join his companions in Madina. The leaders of Quraish plated to take him by surprise with ten men each from ten different families. Their intention was to assassinate the prophet PBUH but the prophet made them slept off whiles he passed by them sprinkling Sand on their heads as he recites the Quran.
4.In many times, he provided good and water supernatural to his companions. Example is when on the day he PBUH and his companions were digging a trench with hunger. The prophet PBUH was given three pieces of days and he placed them in is cloth and all the companions ate the full and some were still remaining....
5.He caused two trees to move at his command.
6.He threw a hand full of sand on the enemies buying th battles of Badr and Hunain which blinded the enemies and caused their defeat.
7. Other creatures use to greet him before and after he was given prophethood.
8.He comforted a palm tree that was crying and upset after he stopped leaning on it during his sermons. ...
9. Muhammad did not cast a shadow, interpreted as a sign of his "light"
10.His prophecies...
For instance, He predicted to Suraqa bin Malik that he would wear the bracelets of Korea. And many more...
We can't end our presentation this night if we are to put present all his miracles. So let us move on.
Now, what is the main miracle of the prophet Muhammad PBUH?...
His main miracle that was given was the Qur’aan.
QURAN is literally similar to QIRAA'AH, both derived from the word QARA'A which refers to "READ".
In addition, the QURAN has been attributed to the book which was revealed to our beloved prophet Muhammad PBUH through his noble companion, Malayka Gabriel.
1. Servants of Allah, The word QUR'AAN is mentioned in the book itself in many occasions.
For instance, Allah says
Surah Al-Isra, Verse 9:
Surely this Quran guides to that which is most upright and gives good news to the believers who do good that they shall have a great reward.
2. Other names has also been used to describe the book. For instance THE FURQAAN(THE DISTINCTION)
Allah says ;
Surah Al-Furqan, Verse 1:
تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ الْفُرْقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ لِيَكُونَ لِلْعَالَمِينَ نَذِيرًا
Blessed is He Who sent down the Furqan upon His servant that he may be a warner to the nations...
3. THE QURAN has also been referred to as DHIKR(THE REMINDER)
Surah Al-Hijr, Verse 9:
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ
Surely We have revealed the Reminder and We will most surely be its guardian.
👌 The QURAN is a direct word to word sayings of Allah to his servants. Both in wording and it's meaning. And was revealed miraculously and in rhythmical form to the Prophet Muhammad PBUH and to mankind in General.
As Allah intend not but only good things for his Ummah, the recitation of the QURAN  serves as a form of worship. As reported by Ibn Mas'ood; that the prophet pbuh said; "Whoever reads a letter from Allah's book will get a good deed and each good deed is worth ten times in it value. And I am not saying that ALIF, LAAM, MEEM is a letter, but ALIF is a letter, LAAM is a letter and MEEM is a letter."
👌 The QURAN is the last and final message from Allah to mankind and it was revealed in a unique form. Completely different from world books.
It does not include introduction, explanation and conclusion neither does it talks about only a historical events or problems of philosophy or  facts of science etc.
Different topics are missed up and scattered all within it and does not follow systematically like any normal worldly book. This generate some thoughts in the minds of the one who does not understand it that the QURAN is disorganized, and yes it looks so.
But to the one who understands it's subject matter, aim and theme, it's well organized.
May Allah help us. Aaaamen.
  The SUBJECT MATTER & THEME
The QURAN has :man in relation to  Allah, man in relation to himself and man in relation to other creatures as it's subject matter.
The main theme has to do with the call to the belief in only Allah as our Lord and the performance of good deeds.
Even dough we can't deal details into the topic but the reader of the Qur’aan needs to assume these facts so to avoid confusion.
     MIRACLE OF THE QUR'AAN
👌 Due to difficulty in communication and transportation, the earlier prophets were sent to the people of which they were raised.
When mankind submits to others other than Allah through ignorance, and others submit to a follow human through force.
The miracles given to the Prophets were powerful and the people inability to imitate them gives an outstanding prove that the source is from Allah which intern gives one a reason to submit to Allah...
For instance when in a challenge, prophet MUSAH A. S won Fir'awn and that gave his people a clear prove about Allah's oneness. The prophet came at the time of magic and Allah gave him a powerful miracle.
Allah says
‘So Musa (Moses) conceived a fear in himself. We (Allah) said: “Fear not! Surely, you will have the upper hand.  “And throw that which is in your right hand! It will swallow up that which they have made. That which they have made is only a magician’s trick, and the magician will never be successful, no matter whatever amount (ofskill) he may attain.” ‘ – Surah TaHa, ayaat 67 – 69
Prophet Isa A. S came at the time of healing and Allah blessed him with the best of healing.
The prophet Isaa A. S also performed Alot of miracle but his main miracle was healing, for instance....
"And We gave unto Jesus, son of Mary, clear miracles" (Quran 2:87)
Healing the Blind and the Leper
"I also heal the blind and the leper." (Quran 3:49)
The Resurrection of the Dead
"…and I bring to life the dead, by the permission of God." (Quran 3:49)
The prophet Muhammad PBUH was sent to mankind as a whole and from his time till the end time. So Allah gave him a miracle that will pose some kind of a challenge in the minds of mankind till the last day.
In addition, Allah even dough gave him some miracles that was directed to his time.. But the QURAN was his main miracle.
Abu Bakar narrates that the prophet pbuh said :
"All prophets were given something which would cause people to believe in them. The thing which I was given is none other than a revelation. So I hope that I will have the most followers on the judgement day."
The Arabs were Globally known with their great alloquence and always organized competitions to exhibit themselves.
The QUR’AAN apart from its unique form, It's a great miracle where, the prophet pbuh challenge the people of Quraysh to produce similar words which they couldn't.
1.The challenge to produce the whole Qur’aan.
(17:88)
Say: If men and jinn should combine together to bring the like of this Quran, they could not bring the like of it, though some of them were aiders of others.
2 . the challenge to produce ten similar suras when they failed to produce the whole Qur’aan.
(11:13)
Or, do they say: He has forged it. Say: Then bring ten forged chapters like it and call upon whom you can besides Allah, if you are truthful.
3. The challenge to produce one Sura when they failed to produce ten.
(10:38)
Or do they say: He has forged it? Say: Then bring a chapter like this and invite whom you can besides Allah, if you are truthful.
Servants of Allah, Alot of blood shared could have been avoided if they were able to produce a single chapter with just 2 or 3 verses.
👌 The Quran is so inspirational to extent that the one who listens becomes immerse in it and can based on that and turn to believe in Allah if he is a disbeliever.
For instance, one the stood in from of his people a and recited suratul-Najm and at the end of the Sura when the prophet said  Verse 62)
فَاسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ وَاعْبُدُوا
So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him).
All of them postdated, both believers and non-believers. Only for the nonbelievers to rise and realised that it was indeed the recitation if the QURAN that made them to prostrate and they claimed that it was magic.
👌  Oo servants of Allah, The QUR’AAN is so great that Allah stated that even mountains could not be able to receive it.
Surah Al-Hashr, Verse 21:
Had We sent down this Quran on a mountain, you would certainly have seen it falling down, splitting asunder because of the fear of Allah, and We set forth these parables to men that they may reflect.
👌 My people, there are so much importance of the recitation of the Qur’aan. But i wouldn't like to pour so much on you to make it difficult to read.
1 . the QURAN serves as  medicine for both the one who listens and the one who recites.
2.The closest a man will be to the QURAN is the closest he is to Allah.
3.One gain easy life from the recitation of some chapters.
4.One can avoid poverty by the recitation of the Qur’aan.
5. The recitation and pondering of its meanings is a means for entering into paradise.
