Significance of Tahajud

Salamualikum waramatullah wabarkahu

Am to present in the topic significance of tahajud this evening

All the praise and thanks are due alone to Allah, the Lord of the Al-Alamin. Peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.

We Always say Alhamdulillah anything Allah makes us see another day as muslims

We as slave of Allah shouldn't forget our purpose of creation

Which only to Worship Allah subhanah

And we are blessed to be among the ummah of the  best of creature.

We do not know  how to Worship Allah and glorify him that's why Allah sent as the teacher and leader that Rasullulah.

And among the Sunnah of Rasullulah is offering tahajud prayers

Tahajud or kiyamul layl I is a night prayer offered before Fajr

The Tahajjud Prayer or Qiyamulail is part of the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW, which Muslims are preferred to follow all the time. Allah Almighty says:

And during a part of the night, pray Tahajjud beyond what is incumbent on you; maybe your Lord will raise you to a position of great glory. [(Al-Isra 17:79]

This order, although it was specifically directed to the Prophet, also refers to all Muslims, since the Prophet is a perfect example and guide for us in all matters.
Moreover, performing the Tahajjud Prayers regularly qualifies one as one of the righteous and makes one earn Allahs bounty and mercy. In praising those who perform the late night Prayers, Allah says:

And they who pass the night prostrating themselves before their Lord and standing [Al-Furqan 25:64]

From Surah Alfurqan

Among the qualities of ibaadu Rahman

Is the verse above

This means we shouldn't let our rooms be like a cemetery where prayers cannot be performed

But we should try and make our rooms and homes full of the worship of Allah and this will drive away shaytan from ur home

In numerous hadith Rasullulah salllahu alayhu w.salam

Admonish us to pray tahajud
When the Prophet SAW came to Madinah, the people gathered around him and I was one of them. I looked at his face and understood that it was not the face of a liar. The first words I heard him say were:
O people, extend the salutations, feed the people, keep the ties of kinship, and pray during the night while the others sleep, and you will enter Paradise in peace.
(At-Tirmidzi

Whoever goes to his bed with the intention of getting up and praying during the night, but, being overcome by sleep, fails to do that, he will have recorded for him what he has intended, and his sleep will be reckoned as a charity (an act of mercy) for him from his Lord.
[An-Nasai and Ibn Majah]

.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir from Said ibn al-Jubayr that a man who has approval (as a relater of hadith), told him that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "If a man prays in the night and sleep overcomes him during it, Allah writes for him the reward of his prayer, and his sleep is sadaqa for him."

 Malik's Muwatta

 (Tahajjud)

Sunnah.com reference : Book 7, Hadith 1

USC-MSA web (English) reference : Book 7, Hadith 1

From this, it can be concluded the essence of Tahajud.

Moreover we find it difficult to perform

To perform this it all begins with the intention

You want to pray tahajud

You must sleep early

And if you know your tahajud will make you miss fajr salat

Then don't do it at all

Or perhaps since the tahajud can be performed before Fajr then wake up 20min before Fajr prayers and perform.I will like to stop for any clarification and question from my noble elders here
