HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO SAVE, IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR MARRIAGE

Assalamu alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu
Bismillahi wal Alhahmdulillah wasualatu wassalamu alaa Rasulullah wa alaa Alihi wa ashabihi
wamanitada bi hudaahu wa ba-ad
All praises is indeed to Allah Subhaanahu wataala, blessing and salutations upon the Prophet
Mohammed Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, we ask Allah to bless each of us and grant us goodness. Aameen
Brothers and sisters Marriage known as ‘Nikkah’ in Arabic is a legal contract between a man and
woman. Not a man and man, or a woman and a woman. May Allah guide us and forgive us all.
Marriage is a very important aspect of the deen. It serves as a legal means for procreating, it also brings
two families together, hence promote unity among the ummah. It also saves individuals from
fornication, etc.
Allah says in the glorious Quran: “ And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from
among yourselves, that you may dwell in peace and tranquility with them, and He has put love and
mercy between your (hearts): Verily in that are signs for those who reflect” (Quran 30:21).
In Surah Nisa Allah says: “O People be careful of (your duty to) your Lord, who created you from a
single being and created its mate of the same (kind) and spread from these two, many men and
women; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, by Whom you demand one another your right, and (to)
the ties of relationship; surely Allah ever watches over you” (Quran 4:1)
Note that in Islam there is no place for celibacy
As a man how much do I need to save before I can get into this institution called marriage?
In Islam, Allah has made breadwinning the responsibility of men. The man is the head of the family and
his duties include providing shelter, food, clothing and other basic needs of the family.
Then it means the man has to save a lot of money right? Not Necessarily
Narrated by Sahl bin Sa’ad As-Sa’idi: A woman came to Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam)
and said, “O Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam)! I have come to give you myself in marriage
(without mahr). “Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam) looked at her. He looked at her
carefully and fixed his glance on her and lowered his head. When the lady saw that he did not say
anything, she sat down. A man from his companions said, “O Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi
Wassallam) if you are not in need of her, then marry her to me”. The Prophet (Sallalahu Alaihi
Wassallam) said “have you got anything to offer?” The man said “No, by Allah, O Allah’s Messenger
(Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam)”. The prophet said to him, “Go to your family and see if you have
something.” The man went and returned, saying, “No, by Allah, I have not found anything”. Allah’s
Apostle (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam) said “Go again and look for something, even if it is an iron ring.” He
went again and returned saying “No, by Allah, O Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam)! I could
not find even an Iron ring, but this is my Izar (waist sheet).” He had no rida. He added, “I give half of it to
her.” Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam) said, “What will she do with your Izar? If you wear
it she will be naked and if she wears it you will be naked.” So that man sat for a long while and then got
up (to depart). When Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam) saw him going, he ordered that he

be called back. When he came, the Prophet (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam) said, “How much of the Quran
do you know?” He said “I know such Surah and such Surah,” counting them. The Prophet (Sallalahu
Alaihi Wassallam) said, “Do you know them by heart?” He replied “Yes”. The Prophet (Sallalahu Alaihi
Wassallam) said “Go, I marry her to you for that much of a Quran which you have.”
Sahih al-Bukhari 5087, book 67, Hadith 25
From the above hadith you can see that dowry is the most important aspect that must be fulfilled before
any marriage. Shelter is also an important aspect that men must be able to provide. The man must save
enough money that can be used to provide shelter and also for the payment of the woman’s dowry.
Does he have to save until the money is enough to build a house or rent a flat? Not necessarily
The man can even stay in his father’s house and get married provided he can afford the dowry. A single
room will do it doesn’t have to be a flat or bungalow and what have you. Now the amount he needs to
save for the dowry depends on the woman he is marrying since she will determine how much should be
paid as her dowry. Allah says in the glorious Quran: “And give women their dowries as a free gift, but if
they of themselves be pleased to give up to you a portion of it then eat it with enjoyment and with
wholesome result.” (Quran 4:4).
Please my dear men if you have enough money to rent a single room and pay a dowry then you can
get married. May Allah increase us in faith. Aameen.
In a nutshell, In Islam a man needs to save as much as can buy shelter and pay dowry before he can go
ahead and get married. Shelter and dowry are the basic requirement. May Allah help all single Muslim
men out there save enough to get married Aameen.
Narrated by Abdullah radiya Allahu Anhuu; we were with the prophet (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam) while
we were young and had no wealth whatsoever. So Allah’s Messenger (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam) said,
“O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze
and guard his modesty, and whoever is not able to marry should fast, as fasting diminishes sexual
power”.
Sahih al-Bukhari 5066, book 67, Hadith 4
How much does a woman need to save before she can get married? Nothing, Zero.
The woman is going to be catered for by the man so she does not need to save anything before she can
married. However it is good if she also saves to support her family.
In conclusion, a Muslim man needs to save as much as can buy a shelter and pay dowry before he can
get married but a woman needs to save absolutely nothing. May Allah help all singles out there get
married. Aameen.
The good I have said, is from Allah and may He help us all benefit from it. The wrong ones are from me
may Allah forgive me and us all. Wassallama wa taslima alaa rasulinaa Mohammed Sallalahu Alaihi
Wassallam wa alaa aalihi suahabihi ajmaeen. Alhamdulillah
Wa sallamu alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu.

HOW A MUSLIMA SHOULD HANDLE HERSELF DURING AND AFTER MENSTRUAL PERIOD

Assalamu alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu. All praises and thanks be to Allah subhaanahu wataala, blessings and salutations upon the messenger of Allah Mohammed Sallallahu alaihi wassalam his family, his companions and all of his followers may Allah include us and our families Ameen.
Menstruation in simple terms is the monthly flow of blood (as a result of unfertilized egg)experienced by females in their reproductive age (the age ranges from 9 to 45 or more or less depending on the physiology of the female).
In Islam, during this period, the woman is exempted from a lot of activities such as Salat, Fasting, circumambulation of the kaba, touching the Quran, entering the masjid, having sexual intercourse.
However, she has to fast in place of the days she missed during the month of Ramadan. Evidence of this can obtained from several hadiths and that of the sexual intercourse from the Quran Surah Baqara verse 222
Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 222:

And they ask you about menstruation. Say: It is a discomfort; therefore keep aloof from the women during the menstrual discharge and do not go near them until they have become clean; then when they have cleansed themselves, go in to them as Allah has commanded you; surely Allah loves those who turn much (to Him), and He loves those who purify themselves.
(English - Shakir)
Being a woman myself, I know how stressful this period usually is. Most women suffer from menstrual crumps and this can be really painful (may Allah ease the pains of all ladies during this period Aameen)
Now, if a muslimah in her menses cannot offer salat, or fast, or circumambulate the kaaba, or touch the Quran or enter the masjid, what should she do during this period to maintain her closeness to her creator Allah azzawajal?
how does she keep herself tidy throughout and after her menses?
In Shaa Allah by the end of this presentation we should be able to answer these questions.
A muslimah during her menses should engage herself in zikr and off head recitation of the Quran. For instance, she can decide to recite verses of Quran at the time of each prayer or she can do zikr at the time of each prayer or any other permissible form of ibaada.
Or she can even listen to recitations from her favorite Quranic reactors like Sheikh Sudais, Shuraim,Shatir etc.
I would also recommend that she keeps her body extra clean and healthy during this period. she can practice the following;
1.Bath frequently (usually add cologne in the water to be used for the bath).
2.Changethe pad as much as possible.
3.Wash our hands frequently especially after handling our pads.
4.Dispose off the used sanitary pad properly.
5.Eat food rich in protein and irons to compensate for the loss.
6.Take enough rest.
We need to stay clean so that we dont make the people around us uncomfortable. Also, blood is a suitable growth medium for a wide range of microorganism, therefore it is necessary for us to be clean to save ourselves from contracting diseases.
The next thing I would like to talk about is the mood of women during this period. Naturally during this period, women are agitated😠 and they can be provoked😡 by even the slightest issue due to several hormones produced by their body which is mostly connected to the activities of the brain. I would therefore recommend that a muslimah should seek more knowledge about her menses and know about all these developments. She should as well educate the people around her especially men so that they will take it easy on her during this period.

HYPOCRISY

HYPOCRISY
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu.Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim
Rabbishirahlii suadree wayassirlii Amrii wahlul uqdatan min lisaanii yafqahuu qaulii
Alhamdulillah for guiding us all to the truth(Islam).Blessing and salutations upon Mohammed rasuul sallalahu alaihi wassalam his family ,his companions and all the muslim ummah.Ameen may Allah give all of us the strength and zeal to dissert our topic for today.Ameen
Hypocracy(Nifaq) in general terms refers to the claim or pretense of holding beliefs, feelings, standards, qualities, opinions, behaviours, virtues, motivations, or other characteristics that one does not in actual fact hold.
A hypocrite in Islam is one who saw Islam, accepted its principles, embraced it,  went along with it, but when his life style and preferences were challenged, Islam had failed with him.  He knowingly wouldn't follow Islam because it would violate a certain life style that he adopted, ego, or standard that is too important to him, even though it directly violates Islam.
In a nut shell, this is what a hypocrite is in Islam.  A hypocrite is a "Muslim".  He is not an apostate (murtadd), nor is he a polytheist or idol worshiper (mushrik), nor is he an atheist (mulhid).  A hypocrite does declare Islam as his religion, and in some cases even prays to GOD Almighty and fasts the month of Ramadan.  Not everyone who Prays to Allah Almighty, however, is a good Musim.

Allah the Almighty said in the glorious Quran; "So woe to the worshipers WhIn a nut shell, this is what a hypocrite is in Islam.  A hypocrite is a "Muslim".  He is not an apostate (murtadd), nor is he a polytheist or idol worshiper (mushrik),

 Allah Almighty said:
"So woe to the worshipers Who are neglectful Of their Prayers, Those who (want but) To be seen (of men), But refuse (to supply) (Even) neighbourly needs.  (The Noble Quran, 107:4-7)"

The difference between a hypocrite and a normal Muslim who sins, is that a hypocrite adopts an unacceptable life style and actions, and insists on following it, while a normal Muslim knows that he is wrong, tries to resist doing sins, but unfortunately sometimes, he still falls into sinning due to immaturity or physical weaknesses

Hypocracy can be categorized into the following;
Behavioral Nifaq: When outward appearance of person is friendly, giving impression of being sympathetic, supportive and sincere while in reality, it is opposite inside his heart.
Verbal Nifaq: The state of double-tonguedness when a person praises and flatters another person or people in front but denounces him or them and speaks slanderously in absence
Degrees and Forms of Nifaq
One of the forms of nifaq, double-facedness and double-tonguedness is nifaq with the Almighty Allah, the Bestower and the Nourisher, with which a person can be inflicted in this world but is not aware of it. He claims to have faith in the Unity of God throughout his life, professing to be Muslim and true believer, and even making ardent claims of His love. However, his inner nature doesnt comply with his appearance and his utterances.
Nifaq can be in relation to the religion of God, sometimes with respect to virtues, sometimes in regard to righteous deeds and holy rites, and sometimes in ordinary matters of day-to-day life and common civilities. Also, sometimes one may act with nifaq with respect to the Prophet (s) or the Imams (as), and sometimes with regard to the awliya[friends of God], the scholars and the believers. Sometimes one may behave with nifaq with Muslims and sometimes with Gods creatures belonging to other communities and creeds.
Nifaq can show itself in different forms pertaining to the status of the person having this deadly disease. For a layman, it can be seen in boasting of faith in Islam, sincerity of faith and piety. For ulama [scholars] and jurisprudents, pretending the highest degree of sincerity (ikhlas) and putting forth claims to the wilayah and the khilafah of the Prophet (s). For the scholars of philosophy and the rational sciences, claiming to possess true faith and knowledge based on deductive proofs.
Giving oneself right to harass and hurt subordinates, and never hesitate to cause them inconvenience or to create problems for them harming them not only in actions but also hurt them with the dagger of tongue, by using derogatory language in their presence, or, in their absence, by disclosing their secrets, by slandering them and making false accusations against them. Thus as a Muslim from whose hands and tongues other Muslims should be safe, claim of adherence of such a person to Islam contradicts his reality, and the state of his heart and his actions are opposite to his claim of being a Muslim.
Being subdued and humble in front of the people. Idolizing people and considering them more powerful, influential and wealthier than God. This is against ones claim that God is almighty and of only worshipping God. If ones outward state truly mirrored his inward reality, he wouldnt be afraid of people or influenced by their wealth or power and fear no deity except God.
Being humble, fearful and subdued in front of all the external phenomena, yet neglectful towards the really Powerful God, the First Cause. Yet, with this state of mind, asserting faith in the Unity of God. In this state, such a person is a foreigner to the community of believers, and belongs to the group of hypocrites and the double-tongued and will be resurrected with them.

Surah Al-Munafiqoon, Verse 1:

When the hypocrites come to you, they say: We bear witness that you are most surely Allah's Apostle; and Allah knows that you are most surely His Apostle, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are surely liars.

Love to hear ones praise that so and so is such a pious man or a talented person and express jubilance when someone says such a thing and feeling unhappy when opposite happens. If a person ream, then such an attitude contradicts his claim that all praise is for God and he lacks sincerity towards God both as Creator and as Bestower.
Eagerness to be in the company of the rich, affluent, kings, rulers and nobles, and having averse to be in the company of poor and needy. In this state, a persons monotheism and piety are not genuine. His piety and abstinence are for the sake of the world, and he is not sincerely devoted to God.
In conclusion hypocracy is a very dangerous disease of the soul ,hence as Muslim striving for Allah's pleasure and Jannah we must constantly conduct soul check up to verify whether we are not in this state. When we see signs of hypocracy in some Muslims we should not confront them and tell them in their faces that they hypocrites. Only Allah can tell if someone is really a hypocrate or not.
May Allah save us all from any form of hypocracy and continue to guide as until He is pleased with us and grant us all Hannah.Aameen
May Allah reward all of you abundantly for making up time to follow through this discussion.
Wassalamu alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu.
