HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS WORLD (DUNIYA) AND IN THE HEREAFTER

As Salaam alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh fellow monotheistic brethren in Islam.
Trust we are all in goodness, auspiciousness and taqwacious state tonight??😊
Alhamdulillah alaa kulli haal
Wasolaat wasalaam alaa manlaa Nabbiyu badahuu wab'ad
Our Topic tonight is about
HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS WORLD (DUNIYA) AND  IN THE HEREAFTER (AAKHIRA)
5 Ways To Be A Winner Both In Deen & Duniya
Let's see if we can digest these five steps together
In Shaa Allah
Bismillah
Rabbi Zidnee Ilman
My Lord! Increase me in knowledge.
Part of being a Muslim involves having long-term goals. We dont just plan for this world, but rather our work should involve extending preparations for the hereafter; our eternal life. For this reason, when Allah speaks about life within the Quran, within many single verses, he mentions the life of this *Dunya and the Akhirah* together. Through His infinite mercy, he has given us the key to achieving both.
1. Know your objective
Success always involves having an objective ; a goal that is set to be achieved. Without an objective, there isnt a clear path to stride upon. Accountants, engineers, doctors, Imams and other professions all require having an objective. Before deciding as student which pathway to choose, every person has an objective and with that objective, a path is outlined eg. To become a doctor, a person has to study medicine and so theyll enrol at Med school. Likewise, this same principle applies to us muslims. What is our objective? Our Prophet (peace be upon him) stated,

The highest of them (levels of Paradise) is Firdaws and the best of them is Firdaws. The Throne is above Firdaws and from it springs forth the rivers of Paradise. If you ask of Allah, ask Him for Firdaws.
[ *Sunan Ibn Majah No. 4331]
Do not aim only for Paradise; aim for the best of it!  2. Dua
When speaking about attaining goodness, there are two verses that really stick out. *Allah says,*

 فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا* *آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَاقٍ
And among the people is the one who says, Our Lord, give us in this world, and they will have in the Hereafter no share.
{Surah Baqarah 2: Ayaah 200}
This verse is then succeeded by,
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
But among them is the one who says, Our Lord, give us in this world good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.’”
{ *Baqarah 2: Ayaah 201}
Just by analysing these two amazing verses, Allah teaches us not to only focus on worldly matters ( *i.e* . *wealth* , *fame, power)* but the hereafter also has a right upon us to be sought. At the same time, we shouldnt neglect this Dunya as Allah mentions,

وَابْتَغِ فِيمَا آتَاكَ اللَّـهُ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ ۖ وَلَا تَنسَ نَصِيبَكَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا
But seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world.
{Surah Qassas 28: Ayaah 77}
Just dont make your main priority the *Dunya because it will fade away.* What will remain is the afterlife. Make dua for it is one of the strongest connections a believer has with their lord.🧕🏻🏻
3. Strive
Anything worth achieving will always require determination. Just take a look at the most successful people of today, they are where they are because of hard work. They didnt allow anyone to tell them they couldnt do it. But Allah has something better in store for those who believe and do righteous deeds. At the beginning of Surah Muminoon, a passage Im sure nearly all of us are familiar with, Allah speaks about attaining goodness,

 قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
Certainly will the believers have succeeded
{ *surah Muminoon 23: Ayaah 1}
I will take roll call after the presentation

Whipping of buttocks time
Who are these people that have already succeeded?* Their characteristics are mentioned within the next few verses:
They who are during their prayer humbly submissive
And they who turn away from ill speech
And they who are observant of zakah
And they who guard their private parts
And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive
And they who carefully maintain their prayers
{ *Surah Muminoon 23: Ayaah 2-9}

 ُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْوَارِثُونَ
Those are the inheritors
{ *Surah Muminoon 23: Ayaah 10}

What will they inherit?
 الَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ هُمْ* *فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
Who will inherit al-Firdaws. They will abide therein eternally.
{ *Surah Muminoon 23: Ayaah 11}
Allah has made this Dunya a training ground to carry out the criteria mentioned at the beginning of Surah Muminoon. By striving and struggling, the muslim achieves  in the Dunya and Akhirah.
4. Being Optimistic
The life of this world will not always go according to what you want nor will you get what you want. Allah will test you with many trials and difficulties to purify you for the next life.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said,

There is no Tiyara (evil omen) and the best is Fal (optimism) They asked, What is the Fal? He said, A good word that one of you hears (and takes as optimism).
[ *Sahih Bukhari No. 5754]

How do remain positive in times of struggle? *By being optimistic in Allah and knowing that these trials will eventually come to an end.
5. Seeking protection
It will only be your enemies who will not want good for you and the greatest enemy to muslims is the Shaytan as *Allah warned us within the Quran,

 إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ* *فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا ۚ
Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze.
{Surah Fatir 35: Ayaah 6}

Shaytan will do his utmost to get you to stray from your path. He will* *preoccupy you with the Dunya to the extent that either* *hell make you forget about the Akhirah, or he will* *trick you with the Dunya at the cost of* *the Akhirah and unfortunately, you* *will find muslims who are indulged in* *haram just to* *make a few extra pounds regardless* *of thinking whether Allah is pleased with them or* *not* .Allah says,

 *بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا*
But you prefer the worldly life,
 *وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ*
While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.
{ *Surah Ala 87: Ayaah 16-17}
The Akhirah will always have precedence over the Dunya because it is worth more in the sight of Allah and better for us as Muslims. This Dunya is a mere transitional phase that we will all pass through and for this reason, *the famous Tabi; Imam Hasan* *Al-Basri* ( *Rahimahullah* ) would say,
🏻🧕🏻
O youth! Seek the hereafter, for we often see people pursuing the hereafter and finding it as well as the Dunya, but we have never seen anyone pursue the Dunya and gain the hereafter as well as the Dunya.
[ *Al-Bayhaqi, Al-Zuhd Al-Kabir*
Wosollallaahu alaa Nabiyyina Muhammad wa alaa aalihi wasohbihil ahyaar wasallama tasleeman kaseerah

THE ISLAMIC WAY OF LIFE

Assalamu Alaikum warahmatuLlah..
Audhu Bi-Llahi Minash Shaytaanir Rajeem..
Bismi-Llahir Rahmaanir Raheem..

"Indeed, all praise is due to Allah. We praise Him and seek His Help and forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from our souls' evils and our wrong doings. He whom Allah guides, no one can misguide; and he whom He misguides, no one can guide."
"I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah- alone without any partners. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger
Hope we are all doing hamdan and eemanious tonight??
Maa Shaa Allah

Our presentation for tonight is on the topic

THE ISLAMIC WAY OF LIFE; THE KEY PRINCIPLE OF SUCCESS
Besides the pleasures and rewards of the world hereafter, the other major role that religion performs is of teaching moral principles to a person. Moreover, these moral principles are not *just to be read or understood, rather they need to be put to practice in this world* so that the followers of the religion represent their religion on the best manner and on the basis of the life they live, they get an appropriate reward in the world hereafter.
Islam is the complete code of life and it gives details and mentions about each and every aspect of life. Therefore, by following the instructions of Islam one can live the worldly life in the best manner. However, there are others who think that following the principles of Islam alienates them and takes them away from this world and hinders in their way of achieving success in this life. Such a conception about Islam is wrong and it has nothing to do with real message of Islam.
Islam encourages its followers to live this worldly life in the best manner and is against abstinence
The key principles of success that can be implemented in life to live it in the Islamic way whilst being well in the world ;
We shall discuss some few. In Shaa Allah
Believe In God:
The first and foremost important thing that can help a believer live the life in an Islamic way and achieving success through it is believing in God.
When the belief of a Muslim increases in Allah Almighty and he or she realizes the fact that Allah Almighty is the sole provider, He is the Supreme and everything comes from Him, then the belief of the believer becomes strong and out of this belief whatever activity he or she undertakes it comes with conviction, and when something is done with conviction, the chances of success increase naturally. Allah Almighty says in Quran.
Even so, there are some who choose to worship others besides God as rivals to Him, loving them with love due to God, but the believers have greater love for God. (2:165)
Therefore, in life the increased and greater belief of a Muslim in Allah is a sign of his or her differentiation from the rest of the religions and their followers, and this belief is what will bring success to a Muslim.🏻
Steadfastness:
The other major Islamic life element that can help a person achieve success is steadfastness. When a person is steadfast in the times of difficulty, or does work with steadfastness in normal circumstances as well, the ultimate result is success in every activity. Allah Almighty instructs the same to Muslims as well in Quran in the following way :

You who believe, be steadfast, more steadfast than others; be ready;* *always be mindful of God so that you may prosper. (3:200)
Thus, if a Muslim wishes to achieve success, he or she needs to be steadfast in whatever activity they undertake and whatever kind of work they do on daily basis.

Strive For Good:
Another Islamic principle basing the life upon which guarantees success in this world as well as in the world hereafter is the *striving for goodness. Being a Muslim it is the primary duty to be good and strive for spreading goodness. When there is goodness all around, the ultimate result is success for all. Allah Almighty says in Quran about this in the following manner:

But We shall be sure to guide to Our ways those who strive hard for Our cause: God is with those who do good. (29:69)

Therefore, if one wishes to walk in the way of good and receive guidance from Allah Almighty then it is imperative to strive and that too in the way of goodness for greater guidance and consequent reward.
Consult With Others
The other important Islamic principle that can help in achieving success in life is consultation with others. It is one of the most important aspect of decision making which people ignore primarily because of their arrogance and the impression that they know all. When a person consults with others regarding any matter, chances are that a person gets to listen or see some new perspective which initially would not have been clear to the person, hence reaching a better decision guaranteeing success. Allah Almighty says in Quran:

And consult them in the matter. (3:159)
Therefore, regardless of if you have all the knowledge that is required to reach a decision, the wise ploy that guarantees success is consulting with others.
Make Life Easier For Others:
One of the major problems of the present world is that people are *striving* *to make* *their life easier on the cost of making it difficult for the others.* This approach is wrong and Islam gives the principle of making the life of others easy to achieve success. In Quran, Allah says:

Seek the life to come by means of what God has granted you, but do* *not neglect your rightful share in this world. Do good to others as God has done good to you. (28:77)
Therefore, one must try to do good to others and make their life easier, as the reward of it comes from Allah Almighty and is equivalent reward to the deed if not greater. Regarding the reward of good deeds, Allah says in Quran:
Is the reward for excellence (ihsan) [anything] but excellence (ihsan). (10:26)

Thus, when doing good with others a Muslim must remember that the reward of it comes from Allah Almighty and that reward is the only success that a person should desire.
Differentiate* *Right From Wrong:
This world is full of all kinds of temptations, these temptations if not properly dealt with, result in a person going down the path of ignorance without even realizing it. Therefore, in order to do so a Muslim needs to differentiate between right and wrong and stand for the right and forbid the wrong in order to achieve success in the true sense. *Allah says in Quran:*

[Believers], you are* *the best community singled out for people: you order what is right, forbid* what is wrong, and believe in God. (3:110)
Thus, to achieve success on Islamic principles, a believer needs to refrain from bad and commit to doing good no matter whatever the circumstances are.

LET'S I FORGET,. BEFORE CONCLUDING THE TONIGHT'S LECTURES,. LET ME REMIND YOU AND ALSO REMIND OTHERS TO TAKE FRUITS A LOT

BECAUSE FRUITS ARE GOOD FOR OUR HEALTH. FREEING OF BOWELS, STAMINA AND SO ON.
WE THANK ALLAH FOR THE NEEMATIL FRUITIYYA*.
Conclusion, In a nutshell, Islam is the complete code of life.* If a Muslim wishes to achieve success in this world and in the world hereafter, then the best solution available for such a person is to incorporate the principles of Islam in life and climb up the ladder of success.🏂🏂🏂

THE BASIC TEACHINGS THAT A MUSLIM MUST KNOW IN ISLAM

As Salaam alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh
Fellow monotheistic brethren in Islam,

I have been invited to this Noble Forum to discuss and remind ourselves on the topic THE BASIC TEACHINGS THAT A MUSLIM MUST KNOW IN ISLAM

AND I'M DELIGHTED TO SHARE SOME SKELETAL OPINION I KNOW PER THE TOPIC
Alhamdulillahi hamdan kaseeran toyyiban mubaaraka fiihi, wa laa maani'a limaa a'atayt. Wa solaatu was salaam 'alaa sayyidinaa Muhammadan abadan abadan. Wa aalihi wa as haabil kiraam.
Prophet Muhammad (saws) said: " Seeking Knowledge is obligatory upon every* Muslim." (Related by Ibn 'Adiyy, Al-Bayhaqi & Al-Tabarani)

Though this Hadith is known and memorised by most Muslims, the essence, the amount, and the kind of knowledge referred to in this Hadith remains misunderstood by many.
If it is true that the knowledge incumbent upon every Muslim pertains to religious knowledge, or *al-'Ilm* *al-Shar'i,* how deeply does one have to pursue his quest of this knowledge to fulfil his duties and discharge the learning obligations placed upon him? In other words, what are the minimum teachings that every Muslim - male or female - is required to know about his Deen?

TYPES OF KNOWLEDGE IN ISLAM
Muslim scholars classify knowledge into two categories:
Obligatory Knowledge ( fardh ' ayn)
his refers to knowledge of the fundamentals of Islamic beliefs* which every Muslim must know Seeking this knowledge is an obligatory duty upon every Muslim. All obligatory knowledge deal exclusively with *al-'Ilm al-Shari'i* , that is, knowledge pertaining to Islamic faith, acts of worship, and the necessary transaction in the daily dealing of a Muslim.

 Optional Knowledge (fardh kifayah)
This is not a duty required of every individual, but rather it falls upon the community as a whole. Hence, if a group of individuals in the community undertake to acquire this kind of knowledge, all other individuals will be exempted from this duty, and the whole community will be free from responsibility or negligence to acquire this kind of knowledge. Examples of such knowledge include studying Islamic law and other basic sciences, industries and professions which are vital for the welfare of the society.
Unlike obligatory knowledge, optional knowledge covers part of Islamic knowledge and all worldly knowledge. The former is called al-'Ilm al-Shar'i al Kifa'i (optional Islamic knowledge), while the latter is called *al-Ilm al - dunyawi (worldly knowledge).
Religious sciences: These cover all branches of Islamic Shariah, such as: tafsir (Qur'anic exegeses), fiqh, hadith sciences ( known as mustalah al-hadith or 'Ilm usul al-hadith), seerah (the Prophet's biography), Islamic political science, ( As-siyasah al - shar'iyah ), Islamic history, etc.

Each of these sciences may require knowledge of other sciences to fully and comprehensively cover the substance of the matter studied. For example: tafsir needs Arabic grammar, Arabic**literature, and other linguistic skills; Hadith sciences need the science of criticism (which looks at the narrators' credibility, trustworthiness, power of memorisation, etc.), called ' *Ilm al-jarh* wat-ta'deel.

The natural and applied sciences: These are all the basic sciences, industries and professions which are of vital necessity for the welfare of the community. Examples of such fields include: engineering; agriculture, fisheries, food sciences, etc.
Leaders of every Muslim community should always do their best to procure the necessary number of scholars, professionals and qualified men and women in all fields of optional knowledge needed by the community. For example, Muslims in America, Ghana, Zimbabwe, etc must train sufficient number of Shariah scholars to answer questions raised by members of the community. They must also prepare enough educators administrators, teachers and counsellors to fill the growing needs of Islamic schools in this country. *Both* *male and* female Muslim doctors are needed in every city to care for male and female Muslim patients, respectively .

From the above discussion, we can fully understand the responsibility that lies upon the shoulders of Muslims in this continent . Any community which does not take the necessary steps to satisfy its own needs in all fields of optional knowledge becomes subject to the punishment of Allah. Consequently, all its members will share the blame and the sins for their shortcomings.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ISLAMIC SCIENCES
First , the understanding fundamentals of Iman: This is also called ' *Ilm Usul ud* - *Deen* ( *Fundamentals of* *Deen* ), or ' *Ilm al* - *Tawheed* (the Oneness of Allah), or simply ' *Aqeedah* (Islamic faith). Every Muslim must have a general knowledge of all matters pertaining to his faith. He should have a clear understanding of the Lord he worships, the Prophet he follows and the Deen to which he committed himself. Needless to say, one should exert the best of one's effort to acquire these fundamentals.
*Second*, understanding Islamic rules and conduct ( *fiqh al* - *ahkam* ): This is also called *fiqh al-'Ibadat* (understanding of acts of worship). This field covers all aspects of the Islamic acts of worship that are necessary for the correct practice of *one's Salat, Zakat, Sawm, and Hajj.* It also covers all aspects of family issues, such as marriage, divorce, children's education, as well as rules and regulations for one's *business transactions such* *as, buying, selling, borrowing and* *lending, etc.* 🧕🏻🧕🏻🧕🏻📝
A Muslim* *is* *obligated to learn* *from fiqh al-ahkam* *only* *matters that are related to Ibadah* (worship) he needs to perform; and rules of a particular transaction he wants to undertake. For example, if a Muslim has not reached the age for prayer or fasting, he does not have to learn about them though the may be encouraged to do so. Also, if one does not have the necessary means to perform Hajj, one does not need to learn its rituals until one becomes able to undertake the Hajj journey.
By learning those two branches, a Muslim will know His Lord by all His beautiful names and Most High* *attributes* . He will renounce all imperfections that ignorant and deviant people attributed to Allah. He will know the status, function and rights of the Prophets and, thus, will not elevate them to a divine status, nor will he degrade them to a status that does not befit their prophethood as many heretics had done.
He will follow a similar course when dealing with other required *beliefs, such as the belief in the Angels* , *the Books* , *the* *Predetermined Decree, the Last* *Day, the punishment in the grave, etc* . On the other hand, before performing any act of worship, a Muslim should know the requirements, the conditions and the desirable actions pertaining to that act.
Hence, He will never practice any act of worship or undertake any transaction not sanctioned by the *Qur'an or Sunnah.
Just by contemplating the Islamic knowledge of Muslims today, the reader will realise how much those two disciplines, which are required of every Muslim, have been neglected, if not totally ignored.
Unfortunately, there* *are many* *Muslim professors,* *doctors, and* *engineers, who hold* *the most* *advanced academic* *or* *professional* positions in their respective institutions, yet do not possess the minimum knowledge of the Islamic sciences. *Ironically, while it takes only a few* *weeks or even a few days to acquire the* *obligatory* *Islamic knowledge* , *it may* *take at least* *two years to obtain* *a basic* *degree in any* *worldly field.*
Though these brothers and sisters are to be thanked and encouraged for their worldly endeavour, they are undoubtedly refusing or let me say rejecting to learn Islamic fundamental knowledge which is not good.
Every Muslim should know that once he has *corrected his* *beliefs, and Ibadah* , *through* *knowledge, and cleansed his* *devotions from any type of Shirk (i.e.* *Showing off,* *pleasing others* *besides/other than* *Allah, etc.),* he can aspire and hope for his reward from Allah (Most Exalted is He). Indeed, it is through knowledge and sincerity that one can enter paradise. This is how we can understand the Hadith of our *beloved Prophet : "* *Whoever adopts the path of seeking* *knowledge, Allah* *eases for him the* *way to* *Paradise* ." (Related by Ahamad, Tirmithi, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, and al-Darami)

MUSLIMS SHOULD TEACH WHAT THEY LEARN
A Muslim who has learned the requirements of his individual duties is responsible for disseminating the knowledge he has acquired to his family members first; then to his friends, co-workers, neighbours, etc. Allah (Most Exalted is He) says:

"O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire (Hell) whose  fuel is men and stones"
(Qur'an, Al-Tahrim 66:6)

The only way to save one's family members from Hell* is to teach them the Islamic obligations and instruct them to observe them consistently.
The Messenger of Allah also emphasised this responsibility. He said: "Every one of you is a steward and is accountable for that which is committed to his charge. The ruler is a steward and is accountable for his charge, a man is a steward and is accountable for his charge, a man is a steward in respect of his household, a woman is a steward in respect of her husband's house and his children. Thus, everyone of yours is accountable for that which is committed to his charge." (Related by Bukhari and Muslim)
The following Hadith is a strong reminder for anyone of us whom Allah has blessed with some Islamic knowledge: " Whoever is asked about a knowledge that he knows about and then hides it and keeps it away, he will be bridled on the day of judgement with a bridle of fire ." (Related by Ahmad, Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi)

CHOICES TO STUDY FURTHER
Whether one who has acquired the requisite knowledge and committed himself to spreading it, will further his study or be content with that level is left to his decision. One should realise, however, that not all people possess the aptitude and diligence to enter the depths of Islamic knowledge, for this is a favour that Allah gives to whomever He pleases.
Nevertheless, one should keep in mind the virtues and merits of disseminating the knowledge of Islam. *The Prophet said:" Allah and His angels and the creatures of Heavens and earth, even the ant in its dwelling and the fish in the sea, do send Salat to the one who teaches people (good) beneficial knowledge." (Related by Al-Tirmidhi)
Haazaa wabillahi Tawfiiq

CHILD UPBRINGING/TARBIYA.FACE 2

As salaam alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh
Complete Praises are surely Allah's, Blessings and Salutations upon the Noble Prophet Muhammad SAW,
May Allah bless members of His household, companions and those who have followed the right path till now. Aameen
AlhamduliLlah for a night once again where we aim at reminding ourselves with certain common issues of life as humans...
We pray & Hope every bit of it will be beneficial to us. Aameen
Some practical steps in bringing up the family correctly.

 Seeking Righteous Children
When an individual wants to get married, they should have the intention to have - and ask Allah to give them - righteous children. They should be patient upon this and seek their children with the correct intention i.e. to increase the number of the Prophet's Ummah, and seek Allah's reward in this life and the Hereafter by way of his children.
_As the Prophet said,_ " Marry those women who are loving and fertile, for verily I want to be amongst those (Prophets) who have the most followers on the Day of Judgement." So when a person gets married he should seek children with the intention to have many children which will go towards making up the Ummah of the Prophet and that these children may become righteous slaves of Allah so that he may benefit from them in this world and the Hereafter
May Allah SWT grant us righteous spouses and children
Aamin
May Allah SWT grant us righteous spouses and children.
the intention has a special and important place with regard to the outcome, as the Prophet said, "Verily, every action is by its intention." So if one has the correct intention at the beginning of the action, then he has its correct fruits at the end.
Correct intention correct fruits

Setting A Good Example
The parent should be a good and the best example for their children. They should hasten to do all good and, likewise, hasten to leave all evil. This is because children follow the example of their parents as they love them and respect and admire them. So the parents are the greatest of all examples for their children.
Therefore, whatever the parents are upon, the children follow them. It is not possible, however one may try, to hide one's evil characteristics from their children. A person may go into his home, closing the door behind them, but it is the children who know the reality of their affairs They know how their character truly is, what they watch and what they see, and they know their situation perfectly. So we should try and be good examples to our children; having the best characteristics, being good towards the people, and remaining  upright in our Deen.

Placing Importance Upon The Deen
The parent should make the most important affair in his life and that of his child the Religion. They should raise their child to know that the most important aspect of his life is that he be upright in his Deen, correcting it and clinging to it firmly. Allah said,
"And this submission to Allah, Islam) was enjoined by Ibrahem upon his sons and by Ya'qoob (as), ( saying), 'O my sons! Allah has chosen for you the (true) Religion, they die not except in the Faith of* Islam." [Qur'an Baqarah 2:132]
And He says, And he made it (i.e. Laa ilaha illAllah - none has the right to be worshipped but Allah Alone) a Word lasting among his offspring (True Monotheism), that they may turn back (i.e. repent to Allah or receive admonition)." [Qu r'an Zukhruf 43:28]
So this should be our greatest concern with regard to our children, that we make clear to them the importance of their Religion and their being upright. We should not be concerned with their Dunya i.e. that they bring home food or drink or wealth, rather we should be most concerned with their remaining upright Muslims.
🏻After this, the believer should make du'a to Allah and supplicate to Him that He guide his children and make them upright, for indeed there is no power nor strength except in Allah. No one has the ability to guide his children himself, or to keep them upon the straight path, rather this is in the Hands of Allah. So one should make du'a to Allah as His prophets did before. Allah says that the believers say,
🌸🌸🌸
" Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqoon (i.e. pious and righteous persons who fear Allah much [abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden] and love Allah much [perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained])." [Qur'an Furqan 25:74]

And also Prophet Ibrahem (as) _mentioned in a long_ _du'a_ ,

"O my Lord! Make me one who offers prayers perfectly, and (also) from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my invocation." [Qur'an Ibrahim 14:40]
So we should follow this example of the prophets in making du'a to Allah and taking the necessary steps in educating and bringing up our children upon this Deen, and asking Allah to keep them upright in their Religion. The Ayah which was previously mentioned is general for all of the believers.
That is, that when one reaches the age of 40 he should make du'a for his parents and that Allah should keep him upon the Guidance, and he also makes du'a that Allah keeps his children upright and correct their affairs.
Showing Love & Kindness Towards One's Children
The parent should control his affair with love, kindness and softness, and should not always use harshness and beating to bring up his children. Rather, he should make his way to be primarily a loving and concerned way. However, if the situation requires that he should also use harshness and hardness and even hitting his children, then he should do so as and when the situation requires it, but he should not make this his way i.e. that he is always hard and harsh towards his CHILDREN.
We should not be like those people who are always hard upon their children as this may lead them towards further corruption and going astray. Neither should we be like many of the Europeans are i.e. that they leave their children without any discipline so that they follow whatever way they like and do whatever they like. Rather we should take the middle course (balanced), sometimes using harshness and sometimes softness, according to the situation. We should always try to exercise balance in raising our children, balancing their affairs correctly and making the uppermost characteristic that of kindness, softness and MERCY.
Will pause here and continue other time if Allah SWT permits us.
WASOLLALLAAHU ALAA NABIYYINA WA ALAA AALIHI WA AS HAABIHI AJMAEEN.
WASALAAM ALAIKUM WARAHMATULLAH WABARAKATUH

Tarbiya.( Child upbringing).Face I

Tarbiyah in Islam is very important, for indeed all of the Deen is based upon tarbiyah (i.e. the education and upbringing of the people). This starts first of all with the education and training of our own selves, then of our families, and then of the community at large. But this tarbiyah is most important with respect to our children, so that they are brought up upon the correct path of Islam. Because of this, many of the scholars take care in discussing this aspect of tarbiyah more so than the others.
After the benefit of al-Islam and our very creation, from the best of benefits is that of having children. We see their benefits both in this world and after we have passed to the next. As for the benefits in this world - when a person becomes old and unable to earn a livelihood, all of his friends and companions leave him alone and it is his children who look after and care for him, bearing his problems and burdens. As for after his death, then a person benefits from his children as the Prophet said: "When the son of Adam passes away, all of his deeds are stopped except for three. Some kind of charity that is continuous, or knowledge which the people are benefiting from, or a righteous child who is praying for him."
Also from the benefits of having children is that if they were to pass away whilst still children, they will intercede for their parents. This is authentically reported from the Prophet , who said:
"There is no Muslim individual, male or female, who has three of his children pass away whilst they are young and he is patient with that, except that they will come and intercede for him on the Day of Judgment." So 'Umar asked, 'What about two [children]?' Upon this the Prophet said, "It is the same for two [children]." (Al-Bazzaar, al-Haakim. Sh. al-Albaanee mentions it in his book, Kitaabul-Janaa-iz)
As for the person who has one child who passes away and he is patient with this, seeking his reward from Allah , then he shall also find a great reward with Him. As in a hadeeth wherein it is reported that the Prophet used to sit down in his sitting place and his companions would sit in front of him to seek benefit and learn from him.
From amongst them was a man who had a small boy; he used to come to the Prophet from behind his back by way of respect, then he used to sit in front of him and sit his son in front of the Prophet . The Prophet asked, "Do you love this child of yours?" The man replied, "Yes, and may Allah cause you to love him also." Then it happened that this child passed away, and the man was so sad that he used to refrain from coming to sit with the Prophet . So the Prophet asked his companions about this man saying, "Why is it that he no longer comes to my sitting place?" And this was from the Sunnah of the Prophet , that if he had people who would come to him and then stop coming, he would ask about their condition and their affairs.
So the companions told him that the man's son had passed away and that he was sad because of that. So the Prophet went to meet this man and asked him, "What has happened to your son?" And the man told him that he had passed away.
So the Prophet said, "Do you wish that your son could be here with you spending time with you, or do you prefer that your son would reach Paradise before you, waiting at the Doors of Paradise to open them for you?" So the man said, "O Messenger of Allah. I wish that my son would go forth before me and precede me to Paradise." So the Prophet said to him, "Verily, this is for you."

So upon this, one of the companions said, "O Messenger of Allah, may I be sacrificed for your sake! Is this (reward) only for this man or is it for all of the people?" He said, "No, this reward is for all of the people (i.e. those who lose a child and are patient with their loss)." (Al-Haakim. Adh-Dhahabee declared it Saheeh as did Sh. Al-Albaanee).
Also from the benefits of having children is that if one has daughters and is patient with them, bringing them up correctly, then for him is a great reward from Allah. Our mother Aa'ishah said,
"A woman with two daughters and who was very poor came to my door requesting charity. All I had was three dates, so I gave them to this woman and her two daughters.
The woman gave a date to each of her daughters and kept the third date for herself. But when the two daughters had finished their dates, they both looked up to their mother wanting the date which she had. So she felt mercy for her two daughters and split the date into two halves, she gave a half to each of her daughters and then she went away. When the Prophet came back I informed him about what had happened. He said, 'Anyone who has daughters and is good in bringing them up, then they will be as a barrier between him and the Hell-Fire'." (Bukhari & Muslim)
It is obligatory for the parents to take care of their children as the responsibility for them is upon their shoulders. As the Prophet said, "All of you are shepherds and will are responsible for his flock."
And will be responsibleUnfortunately, many of the people look down upon this affair of bringing up the children correctly and consider it as a small matter and unimportant, instead busying themselves which affairs such as politics and those things which it may be beyond their ability to reach. They look to those things which are seen as more important and so look down upon the affair of raising their children correctly.
In this, they are mistaken, as whoever the Imam or the leader of the believers may be, even if he was the most righteous of all righteous people and the most just of all rulers, if a person does not take care of their own affairs then no-one else is going to come into their house and look after their children for them. And if this Imam was the worst of all the people, yet a person was to take care of their own family as is his responsibility, then how is his harm and his condition going to affect that person? Allah says,
"Verily! Allah will not change the good condition of a people as long as they do not change their state of goodness themselves." [Qur'an 13:11]
So it is upon us to change our own condition and the condition of our own families, and then to look to the condition of our communities and the community of the Muslims at large. For if we were to neglect this responsibility then we would never achieve the correct tarbiyah - training, upbringing and education - of our societies.
Indeed the Book of Allah (Qur'an) and the Sunnah of the Prophet encourage us to bring up our children correctly;ordering us with righteousness and good conduct ourselves as well as ordering us to prevent our families from falling into that which would result in their own destruction. As Allah says,
"O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones." [Qur'an Tahrim 66:6]

And He says,
"enjoin Prayer on your family, and be patient in offering them (i.e. the Prayers )." [ Qur'an Ta-Ha 20:132]
The Prophet said, "Order your children with Salah when they are seven years old, and beat them upon it (i.e. force them to do so by hitting them) when they are ten years old, and (also) separate them in their sleeping place.
So by the preceding Ayat and hadeeth, Allah and the Prophet teach the believers about the importance of Salah and worship, and also in the hadeeth the Prophet is teaching his Ummah about how to live this life free from all types of doubts and misconceptions, by avoiding those places and situations where such doubts and misconceptions may arise. So the order is that one should raise one's children upon the most blessed and praiseworthy of characteristics.

FIQH OF MARRIAGE (Prohibition of sodomy)

Alhamdulillah wasolaat wasalaam alaa Rasuulullah wa alaa aalihi wa as-haabih ammaa ba'd
The Prohibition of Sodomy
It is forbidden for a Muslim man to enter his wife in her anus. This is understood from the verse quoted above (i.e. since a planting ground can only refer to a place where something might grow), and from the narrations cited above. There are also other hadith on the subject, among them:
First: On the authority of Umm Salama who said: When the Muhajireen came to Ansaar at al-Madeenah, some of them married women from the Ansaar. The women of the Muhajireen used to lie on their faces (during intercourse), while the women of the Ansaar never did it that way. Then, one of the men of the Muhajireen wanted his wife to do that. She refused until such time as she could ask the Prophet about it. She went to the Prophet but was embarassed to ask the question, adn so Umm Salama asked him. ?
Then the verse was revealed which says: Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will; The Prophet said: No! (not any way you wish) Except in one opening! (ie. the vagina). [Ahmad, at-Tirmidhee and others : Saheeh]

Second: On the authority of Ibn Abbaas who said:
“‘Umar ibn Al-Khattaab came to the Prophet and said: O Messenger of Allaah, I am destroyed! The Prophet asked: And what has destroyed you, O Umar? Umar said: `I turned my mount around last night. (An expression which means he has sexual intercourse with his wife penetrating the vagina while mounting her from the rear.) The Prophet gave him no answer and when the revelation came and the verse was revealed which says: Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will; [al-Baqarah 2:223] and the Prophet said: From the front and from the back, just beware of her anus and her menses. [an-Nasaaee in `Ishratun-Nisaa with hasan isnaad, at-Tirmidhee and others].

Third: On the authority of Khuzaima ibn Thaabit who said:
A man asked the Prophet about entering women in the rear, or the entering by a man of his wife in her rear, and the Prohet answered: `Halaal (ie. permissible). When the man turned to leave, the Prophet called him or ordered for him to be called back and said : What did you say? In which of the 2 openings did you mean? If what you meant was from her rear and in her vagina, then yes. But if what you meant was from her rear and in her anus, then no. Verily Allaah is not ashamed of the truth do not enter your wives in their anuses! [as-Shaafi, al-Baihaqi and others: Saheeh]

Fifth:
Cursed are those who come to their wives in their anuses. [Aboo Dawood, Ahmad and others with hasan isnaad and is supported].

Sixth:
Whoever has sexual intercourse with a mentruating woman, or a woman in her anus, or approaches a soothsayer and believes what he is told has disbelieved in that which was revealed to Muhammad. [Aboo Dawood, at-Tirmidhee and others: Saheeh].

Making Wudhuu between 2 acts with ones wife
When a Muslim man has had sexual intercourse with his wife in the legal manner and then wishes to return another time, he should first perform wudhuu, based on the statement of the Prophet :
When one of you comes to his wife and then wishes to return another time, let him perform wudhuu between the 2 times (In another version, the same wudhuu which he performs for prayer) for verily, it will invigorate his return. [Muslim, Ibn Abi Shaibah and others].

Bathing is preferable
Bathing, however, is preferable to merely making wudhuu in such situations. Abu Raafi narrates:
That the Prophet made the rounds of all his wives one night, bathing in the house of each one. He ( i.e. the narrator) asked the Prophet: Couldnt you have just bathed once (i.e. at the end)? The Prophet answered : This way is purer, cleaner and better.  [Aboo Daawood, an-Nasaaee: Hasan in al-Ishrah, and others].

The Bathing of Husband and Wife together
It is permissible for the husband and wife to bath together in the same place even though he sees her private parts, and she sees his. This is established by a number of authentic hadith, among them:
  1. On the authority of Aaishah (radiallahu anha) who said:
I used to bathe with the ProSphet from a single container of water which was placed between us such that our hands collided inside it. He used to race me such that I would say: `Leave some for me, leave some for me! She added: `We were in a state of Janaba ( i.e. the state of having slept together).’”[Al-Bukharee and Muslim].
  1. On the authority of Muaawiya ibn Haida, who said:
I said: `O Messenger of Allaah, which of our nakedness is allowed, and of which must we beware? The Prophet answered, Guard your nakedness excpet from your wife or those whom your right hand possesses. (So it is permissible for both spouses to look at and touch the body of his or her companion even the private parts). He said: `O Messenger of Allah, what about if the relatives live together with each other? The Prophet answered : If you can make sure that no one ever sees your nakedness, then do so. He said: `O Messenger of Allah, what about when one is alone? The Prophet said: Allah is more deserving of your modesty than are the people. [Ahmad, Abu Dawood, at-Tirmidhee and others: Saheeh].

Making Wudhuu after Sex and before Sleeping
It is best for husband and wife not to sleep after having sex until they first perform wudhuu. There are various hadith about this, among them:
First :
On the authority of Aashah who said: Whenever the Prophet wished to sleep or eat while in a state of Janaba (i.e. after having sex and before bathing), he would wash his private parts and perform wudhuu as for prayer. [Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim

Second;
On the authority of Ibn Umar who said: O Messenger of Allah, should we go to sleep in a state of janaba? The Prophet answered: Yes, after making wudhuu. [Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim]. In another version: Perform wudhuu and wash your private parts, and then sleep. [Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim]. And, in another version: Yes, you can perform wudhuu, sleep, and bathe whenever you want. [Muslim and al-Baihaqi]. And, in still another version: Yes, and perform wudhuu if you wish. (This last version proves that this wudhuu is not obligatory.) [Ibn Khuzima and Ibn Hibban: Saheeh].

Third: On the authority of Ammaar ibn Yaasir, the Prophet said:
There are three which the angels will never approach: The corpse of a disbeliever; a man who wears perfume of women; and, one who has had sex until he performs wudhuu. [Abu Dawood, Ahmad and others: Hasan].

The Ruling of this Wudhuu
This wudhuu is not obligatory, but is very highly and definitely commendable. This ( i.e. its not being obligatory) is based on the hadith narrated by Umar in which he asked the Prophet: Should we go to sleep in a state of janaba? To which the Prophet answered: Yes, and perform wudhuu if you wish. [Ibn Hibbaan: Saheeh]. This is also supported by other hadith, among them a hadith narrated by Aaishah who said: The Prophet used to sleep in a state of janaba without having touched water, until he would get up later and bathe. [Ibn Abi Shaiba, at-Tirmidhee, Abu Daawood and others: Saheeh]. In another version narrated by Aaishah , she said: He used to spend the night in a state of janaba until Bilal came in the morning to make the adhaan. Then, he would get up, bathe while I looked at the water dripping from his head, and go out. Then, I would hear his voice in the Fajr prayer. Then, he would remain fasting. Mutarrif said: I said to Aamir: In the month of Ramadhaan? He said: Yes, in Ramadhaan and in other than Ramadhaan. [Ibn Abi Shaiba, Ahmad and others: Saheeh].
