1-فَمٌ -- a mouth  

2-اَنْفٌ-- a nose

3-فَلَّاحٌ-- a headsman

4-طَالِبٌ-- a male student

5-مَسْجِدٌ--a mosque

 

هذه

1-دَرَّاجَةٌ-- a bicycle

2-قَهْوَةٌ--  coffee

3-حَقِيبَةٌ-- a bag

4-مِلْعَقَةٌ-- a spoon

5--طَالِبَةٌ-- a female student

Is used to demonstrate  a masculine singular noun that is close.

هذه

Is used to demonstrate a feminine singular noun that is close.

 

Examples;

هذاطالب

This is a student (male)

 

هذهطالبة

This is a student (female)

 

Note; the nouns here do not begin with ال

 

Exercise;

Use the list of words given above to form sentences as in the examples. Write them in your exercise books. You can try one here 😊.

 

Assignment

Give three examples of demonstrative pronouns from the Qur'an including the chapter and the verse number.

 

Note; in demonstrative pronouns, the nouns do not begin with ال
