THE ESSENCE OF EMBARKING ON DA'WA ON SOCIAL MEDIA

After extending the profound gratitude to Allah and praises to his last and seal of messengers and seeking the forgiveness and his mercy into the  companions of the last and seal of messengers, his entire family and all these who shall follow him with sincerity till the last day. Amaaba'd.

We thank Allah for this day, his mercy unto us and the benefit of making us Muslims. Hope we all in an increasing state of health and eeman?

We in once again to see how to better our lives and uplifting islam  at large under the theme importance of dawah  the     mass media. If am not mistaking.

Without Further introduction i plead to begin  with   the topic or theme under discussion straight away.

We should all know with absolute certainty that after declaring ur faith which is tawheed, the oneness of Allah in everything, the next most pressing deed is inviting others to this faith ( tawheed)

From this point we can easily deduce that eeman is incomplete without inviting others or calling others to the faith  of oneness in Allah ( tawheed).

If we vigorously contemplate on surah Asrquran 103, Allah Almighty categorically mentioned the     most pressing and conditions for success which were righteous deeds, mutual advice about the truth, and mutual advice   about patience . From this chapter we easily see Allah mentioning advice which should be mutual and should be true as the second condition for success after eeman. Meaning after eeman the next pressing thing  for a Muslim should be inviting others to eeman ( tawheed in every aspect of this life) . This inviting to Tawheed is what we refer to as dawah. And again the duty of all Prophets and Allah mentioned in   the Quran.

From this we can say that dawah can be in two forms .calling to Allah which is the true dawah and calling to other than Allah which is false dawah. The caller to Allah is the sincere person who desires to link and bond people with Allah . The caller to other than Allah calls to himself: he calls to the truth in order to be honored and exalted among people. as a result he gets angry when people do not do what he instructs them but he does not get angry if they commit greater sins which he did not commit them to abandon. There are many callers who try finding verses of the Quran and hadith's to justify what some group do just to get honor from the people     they are those we refer to as  callers toward themselves and not Allah. This clearly tells  us the major difference between callers to Allah and callers to themselves . One should note  that whenever one calls to Allah and finds the people fleeing from him should not   despair and abandon the dawah for the messenger said to Ali by Allah for Allah to guide a single person by you is better for you to have some red camels) in the books of bukarivol 5 p. 368-369. From this hadith's our concern should be guiding to Allah rather than worldly things..Red camels referred in the hadith is a synonym to worldly materials. It is therefore prudent to clarify to people and warn them against falsehood , to clarify the truth from falsehood for if the two is not clear to them falsehood will be an established fact which will be followed by the people . We should note that calling to Allah is generally considered by scholars of Islam as an obligation on every Muslim according to their abilities. It has been instructed by Allah in the Quran on every Muslim according to their abilities .Dawah is obligatory on us all provided we are able and capable until the message of Allah reaches every corner of the earth in the various languages of the people . This tells us the significance of using    trending and modern technology in conveying the massage of truth or islam. ALLAH says in the quransoorahAlmaida 5:67 O messenger of Allah , convey what was revealed from your lord. Therefore it is obligatory on the whole nation from rulers and scholars to businessmen and others to convey this religion from Allah and the teachings of His prophet in a manner that will maks this audience     assimilate and comprehend with ease. We should realise that dawah is of two levels .Ths first is the fardayn which means  obligatory and the second is fardKifaya a collective obligatory. Dawah becomes individual obligatory on us all if we have no one doing such in the environment we find ourselves and collective responsibility if we have others engaged in the act of da'wah. Allah says in the Quran in buttressing the responsibility of dawah by saying in the Quran 3 104 soorahAlimran. Let there arise among you a group inviting so all  that is good, enjoying righteousness and forbidding evil. These are the successful ones. Allah says again on the responsibility of dawah in soorahNahl16 : 125 call to the way of your lord with wisdom and good preaching. This verse tells us how to convey the message . Which has brought us to our topic . We no going to look at conditions to be fulfilled by this daaeee and how the message to be carried in light of technology.
