INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE 2
As salamualaykumwaRahmatuLlah.
All Praises and thanks are to Allah the most
high and we ask Him to send His salutations and blessing to our Prophet SAW
Today ill want us to start with our ramadan
series, The Qur'an in our lives
Since this is the first I’ll make it very
brief.
May Allah ease it for us.Servants of Allah,
the Qur'an is one of the things we as muslims take a lot of pride in.
The Quran is the word of Allah in all its
forms.
Allah SWA revealed it to our noble Prophet
saw via Angel Jibril. So that he SAW will become a warner to the disbelievers
and also a giver of glad tidings to the believer
This Noble Book servants of Allah was
revealed in a very clear tongue to the whole of mankind and it contains
everything that we need in order to better or deen and also our dunya
Without the Quran, no matter how rich or famous
you are, you will still have a wretched life. So now we are going to take our
verse for this week and then talk just a little concerning it.As i said earlier
this is going to very short. May Allah ease it for us.
Our verse or verses for this week will be the
the first verses of the Quran.
The chapter of the opening.Which is
suratulfatiha
This chapter has numerous names
It is called suratulHamd sometimes
It is called suraltulruqya
It can also be called suratulshafaa'ah
We begin with name of Allah as He Himself
did. By saying
IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MOST GRACIOUS THE
MOST MERCIFUL
Allah is the ultimate name which Allah has
chosen among His other names.
The name Allah can even make the lame man
know that this is the name of the one who deserves to be worship
This name is the greatest of names
A name with which a servant can reap a lot of
favours if he gives it its rights
Allah is the most Gracious. This gracious is
a form of mercy which Allah has engulfed all his creatures with. Allah's mercy
exceeds His wrath. The Prophet saw made it known to us that Allah divided his
mercy into 100 parts. Out of this 100 He gave one to all His creatures and then
kept the remaining 99. This shows how merciful Allah IS. Allah the most High is
more merciful to His slaves than a breastfeeding mother is merciful to her baby.
The other mercy of Allah at the end of this
verse is the mercy of Allah which is solely for those who have accepted amd
established the rights of Allah as the only deity worthy of worship. And that
is the mercy with which Allah shall admit His servants into Jannah on the day
of Qiyama
THE BEST OF PRAISES AND THANKS ARE DUE TO
ALLAH THE LORD OF THE WORLD
This is the second verse of this great surah
The word that was used for praise here was
the arabic word 'Hamd'
This word 'Hamd' refers to a kind of praise
or thanks given to a person because hedeserves that praise. Not because he has
done something for you. And who is more deserving of Praises and Thanks
servants of Allah. As muslims we need to give Praises and thanks to Allah the
most high all the time. Because he deserves the Praises.Even if Allah hasnt
done anything at all for you(which is not likely) you still have to praise and
thank Him.
Why?
Because He is Allah, he is the Greatest, he
is the most High,he source of all that exist and will ever exist. Servants of
Allah due to time factor ill end here and finish next adding our next verse(s)
of the next in a more comprehensive presentation next.
But before that what have we learnt from the
two ayaaatsi have shared
We have to acknowledge the mercy of Allah SWA
The fact that Allah is merciful even to those
who dont believe He exists.
He still sends them rain and doesn’t withhold
their breath. As Muslims we should fear Allah. We should even be shy of Allah
because how can we know that Allah is this merciful and even more than that
then we will still disobey Him deliberately
We should constantly give Praises and thanks
to Allah for He deserves them servants of Allah. When we acknowledge that Allah
is deserving of the best Praises and thanks, Allah will also acknowledge us and
make us among those who deserve His favours and mercy.May Allah accept our acts
of worship and grant us Jannah.
As SalamuAlaykum
