PERSONAL PRONOUNS (dual)

 

📓Note(s) ;

👷🏼🤦🏼‍♀اَنْتُمَا

you(two); it is used to indicate the second person plural of two, for both feminine and masculine nouns.

👷🏼🤦🏼‍♀هُمَا

They(two); this is used to indicate the third person plural of two, for both masculine and feminine.

 

Masculine dual nouns

1. مُدَرِّسَانِ

2. زَوْجَانِ

3. مُسْلِمَانِ

4. قَلَمَانِ

5. بَيْتَانِ

6. رَجُلَانِ

7. حَجَرَانِ

 

Feminine dual nouns

1. مُدَرِّسَتَانِ

2. جَمِيلَتَانِ

3. طَوِيلَتَانِ

4. حَقِيبَتَانِ

5. حَبِيبَتَانِ

6. دَرَّاجَتَانِ

7. بِنْتَانِ

 

🌳Examples;

 

 1. هذامحمد و ذالكزَيْدٌ. همامدرسان

this is Muhammad and that is Zaid. They (the two) are teachers

 

2. هذههندوتلكمريم. همامدرستان.

 This is Hind and that is  Maryam. They (the two) are teachers.

1. انتماطبيبتان

You(two) are Doctors

2. انتمامسلمان

You(two) are muslims
