Today's discussion is the continuation of our
previous lectures on the Topic " SUBMITTING TO ALLAH"
After our previous lectures, we realized
that.... In times of ease and difficulties
all the Prophets and Messengers turned to Allah in total submission.
At the end , They all submitted to the will
of Allah.
Because, Submitting to Allah is the primarily
duty of every creature
As we cited the examples of ABRAHAM and his
son ISHMAEL........when he was commanded to sacrificed his only son.
And the example of Musah and Fir'aun
In sha Allah, we are going to derive lessons
from the GLORIOUS QUR'AN where creatures were SUBMISSIVE to their Creator.Do
they seek other than the DEEN of Allah, when all things in the heavens and the
earth, willingly and unwillingly submit to Him, and to Him they will be
returned
According to the above verse (3:83),
everything in the heavens and the earth submit to Allah. In other words all
these are believers. Don't you see that all things and beings in the heavens
and in the earth, the sun and the moon, and the stars and the mountains, and
the trees, and the animals, and a great many human beings bow themselves to
Allah (in submissiveness and obedience)
Sajda means bowing or prostrating in
submissiveness or submission. Obviously, everything in the heavens and the
earth do not prostrate as humans do physically by putting their foreheads on
the ground but this means the submissiveness and obedience of these things to
Allah’s Command or Law.
Do you not realize that Allah, It is He Whose
assigned tasks all beings in the heavens and the earth carry out, and the
birds, with their wings outspread, as they fly in columns. All of them know
their SALAT and TASBEEH (mission and strife). Allah is Aware of what they do.
em know their SALAT and TASBEEH (mission and
strife). Allah is Aware of what they do.
Everything in the heaven and the earth is
striving to carry out the tasks assigned by Allah. Everything knows its SALAAT
and TASBEEH.
The difference between their submission and
submission of humans is that these things are bound to follow Allah’s laws willingly or
unwillingly [3:83, 13:15]. They do not have any choice. The Sun does not have
any choice to change its course.
The stars do not have any choice to move to
any position other that the ordained, and so on. All are whole-heartedly
obedient to Allah’s
commands [2:116]. But man has not been created to be obedient by default but he
is commanded to do so by choice [2:238].
Whatever is in the heavens and the earth
submits to Allah’s
commands willingly or unwilling [3:83]. But human beings have choice. Whoever
among them submits his whole self entirely to Allah, will have his reward with
his Lord [2:112].
It is the mercy of Allah that gives us this
choice but mankind due to his ignorance and blind love for the world absuses
this choice and disobeys Allah.
How can we not seek the pleasure of Allah
through submitting to Him in total.
Why are we so thankless and so heedless to
the most important pleasure we can ever seek and that is the pleasure of
submitting ourselves to Allah. What is the reason behind our partial or no
submission?
Fear of Allah and total believe in his deen,
unless we have these traits embedded in us we cannot submit ourselves to Allah
in a genuine manner.
We need to realise the totality of His
message and the exclusive greatness in His message that does not need
complementation or supplementation of any kind.
So let us all surrender to Allah totally for
that is the only way to seek His pleasure and have a pure and successful life.
I will end today's section with the greetings
of the people of Jannah
Assalamualaikum
WARAHMATULLAHI WABARAKAATU
