UNITY AMONG MULIMS
All praises are to Allah
Subhaanahuwata'aalaa
The One who who promised
a greet reward for those who foster unity by returning bad behaviors with
goodness.
I praise and Thank Him
for the good days and for the bad days. May He send His peace and salutations
to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW)
Unity has a very
important role in the day to day lives of Muslims
Thus when Prophet
Muhammad (SAW) migrated to madina, after
building the first mosque, the second he built was brotherood
Almighty Allah has placed
a lot emphasis on our brotherhood and has warned us against dis unity
He says...
وَالَّذِينَكَفَرُوابَعْضُهُمْأَوْلِيَاءُبَعْضٍ
ۚ إِلَّاتَفْعَلُوهُتَكُنْفِتْنَةٌفِيالْأَرْضِوَفَسَادٌكَبِيرٌ
And those who disbelieved
are allies of one another. If you do not do so, there will be fitnah on earth
and great corruption.Sura
Al-Anfal, Ayah 73
Ummatal Islam, almighty
Allah called believers as brothers, He says...
إِنَّمَاالْمُؤْمِنُونَإِخْوَةٌفَأَصْلِحُوابَيْنَأَخَوَيْكُمْ
ۚ وَاتَّقُوااللَّهَلَعَلَّكُمْتُرْحَمُونَ
The believers are but
brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may
receive mercy.Sura Al-Hujurat, Ayah 10
Prophet Muhammad peace be
upon him placed emphasis on our brotherhood and has said, in the nearest
meaning... A believer is a brother of
another believer, like the building, it
intercept in to each to make the bonding stronger.
It's well known that
shaitan try it ways to devide the believers, the whispers of dis agreements,
intolerance, dis regard, this respect ,anger slander and and many more

يَاأَيُّهَاالَّذِينَآمَنُوالَايَسْخَرْقَوْمٌمِنْقَوْمٍعَسَىٰأَنْيَكُونُواخَيْرًامِنْهُمْوَلَانِسَاءٌمِنْنِسَاءٍعَسَىٰأَنْيَكُنَّخَيْرًامِنْهُنَّ
ۖ وَلَاتَلْمِزُواأَنْفُسَكُمْوَلَاتَنَابَزُوابِالْأَلْقَابِ ۖ بِئْسَالِاسْمُالْفُسُوقُبَعْدَالْإِيمَانِ
ۚ وَمَنْلَمْيَتُبْفَأُولَٰئِكَهُمُالظَّالِمُونَ
O you who have believed,
let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than
them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than
them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive]
nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And
whoever does not repent - then it is
those who are the wrongdoers.
Sura Al-Hujurat, Ayah 11
يَاأَيُّهَاالَّذِينَآمَنُوااجْتَنِبُواكَثِيرًامِنَالظَّنِّإِنَّبَعْضَالظَّنِّإِثْمٌ
ۖ وَلَاتَجَسَّسُواوَلَايَغْتَبْبَعْضُكُمْبَعْضًا ۚ أَيُحِبُّأَحَدُكُمْأَنْيَأْكُلَلَحْمَأَخِيهِمَيْتًافَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ
ۚ وَاتَّقُوااللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّاللَّهَتَوَّابٌرَحِيمٌ
O you who have believed,
avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not
spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his
brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is
Accepting of repentance and Merciful.
Sura Al-Hujurat, Ayah 12
Ummatal Islam the single
most important thing we need to do to foster unity in the times the is dispute is to repay evil
with good. Almighty Allah says..
ادْفَعْبِالَّتِيهِيَأَحْسَنُالسَّيِّئَةَ
ۚ نَحْنُأَعْلَمُبِمَايَصِفُونَ
Repel, by [means of] what
is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe.
Sura Al-Mu'minun, Ayah
96
وَلَاتَسْتَوِيالْحَسَنَةُوَلَاالسَّيِّئَةُ
ۚ ادْفَعْبِالَّتِيهِيَأَحْسَنُفَإِذَاالَّذِيبَيْنَكَوَبَيْنَهُعَدَاوَةٌكَأَنَّهُوَلِيٌّحَمِيمٌ
And not equal are the
good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and
thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he
was a devoted friend. SuraFussilat, Ayah 34
The interpretation of
this Aaya suggest that when u extend a hand of good gesture to the person who
has wronged and insulted you, thus attitude will push him to reconcile and thus
build an awe of respect and passion in his heart towards you
The interpretation of this Aaya suggest that

Then he might become a close friend that
cares. But how many can do that
Almighty Allah says
وَمَايُلَقَّاهَاإِلَّاالَّذِينَصَبَرُواوَمَايُلَقَّاهَاإِلَّاذُوحَظٍّعَظِيمٍ
But none is granted it
except those who are patient, and none is granted it except one having a great
portion [of good]. SuraFussilat, Ayah 35
